I spent about 1 1/2 hours shaping the tree, when finished there was no bare spots or "holes"! I did lose 2-3 little branch ends while shaping it that just fell off but you cant tell. Also I had to vacuum after shaping, but honestly I always have had needles after shaping any tree. For me that's to be expected. I was very happy with how this tree turned out. For those saying it's a charlie brown tree, they are not putting the time or effort into the shaping process. You have to put in some effort even for expensive trees. Another thing with this tree is the branches are so soft. I rather enjoyed not getting poked and stabbed while shaping it. My daughter is currently putting the decorations on as I type! I would recommend this tree if you dont expect it to be perfect right out of the box!

Branches are sturdy, remember to use garden gloves when fluffing and arranging the branches. Use a green garland to fill in around the center if you want a full realistic look. Easy to put up and take down. A great buy, wish I had room for another one!

I definitely suggest u to use plyers to tighten the screws at the bottom that keep it sturdy... hand tightened it's still a little wobbly... but I used plyers and it's pretty sturdy now!! 2 little branches did break off when I was fluffing the tree, but u wouldn't know if I didn't tell u... definitely the best value for a great price!!!
