After reading plenty of reviews and getting a personal friend recommendation, I purchased this product. I love the way it cleans, especially the vibrate function to help break up the dirt on my floor. The only bad thing... the cleaning solution that comes with it smells like vomit and makes my whole house smell bad. I added a few drops of essential oils and that has helped a little bit, but still smells a little funky. Other than that it is super easy to use and I love that I can take the pad off and throw it in the washer! ... show more

We have a Victorian house with hardwood floors, and using a traditional bucket and mop is quite a chore! I have been looking for a "Swiffer-type" solution, but have been turned off by their paper mop covers and bottled solutions (both expensive and environmentally unsound). So I went for this BONA product designed for hardwood floors, with a cool, washable microfiber pad, and water-based cleaning solution. The first one arrived, and the spray mechanism was faulty, so the second one came today, and assembled in five minutes, and works like a champ. It's been a while since I can say I was excited about a product. But this mop is wonderful. It was easy to assemble and the width of the mop surface makes for quick cleaning. The spray width is wide also depending on how hard you squeeze the trigger. I have Brazilian Cherry floors and before, the best way to clean spots and smudges was either steaming (which I do not like to do often, and did seem to leave streaks) or on my hands and knees with Bona (which with knee problems, I can not do anymore). This mop uses my Bona cleaner and even after 2 rooms and a hallway, it was not leaving streaks! I will be getting several more mop pads so I can change them out, but I love this mop! Works great ez to usr. Just not much difference between this Premium Mop that sells everywhere for around $42 vs the standard mop that I bought for $28 to $32 at local stores. There was just a softer rubber tips and a different liquid for hardwood. Almost thinking you could buy the standard.mop and standalone liquid to save money. ... show more

    • Great Product But It Has a Fatal Engineering Flaw

It always amazes me when a company creates such a great product but they cheap out on the materials at the purchaser's expense. This product is so easy to use and does such a great job that I can mop 2500 square feet of hardwood floors in less than 15 minutes and they always look fantastic when I am finished. However, there is a major design flaw. The most highly stressed part of this mop, the articulated joint, where the head meets the upright, is just made with cheap plastic. Mine broke in about a month. (In the video that Bona posted on Amazon, they emphasize the additional grip for easier scrubbing. If you put more than a slight amount of pressure on this grip, your articulated joint will break too.) I was able to use some Gorilla tape to tighten up the joint but the mop head still inevitably falls off 2 or 3 times during each mopping session. I personally would rather spend an extra $5 for something that lasts years rather than a month. As good as this product is, I am not sure that I would buy another one, given how poorly this one is engineered. ... show more
