This robot was given as a gift to a seven-year-old who fell in love with it from the start. From the flashing / blinking eyes to the ease with which it can be controlled with the remote controller (required 2 AA batteries that weren't included). The robot itself can be charged for an hour with the included USB cord and you have a couple of hours of playtime with it. It was great to watch her be able to spin the robot 360 degrees as well as steer left and right and forward and backward. She loved it! It would be a great first remote control robot for younger children as well as older elementary-age children. It also came with a small screwdriver to secure the batteries in the remote controller. This was a great gift!

I got this remote control robot for my grandson. He loved it and played with it all day. It seem to be able to take everything this 9 year old could put it though.

The BOMPOW robot toy is a lot of fun. It has a few different song/sound options and is pretty loud. The volume is not adjustable though. The robot is easily charged via USB but the remote control takes 2 AA batteries. Syncing is really easy and I haven't had any issues with controlling the robot. I did notice though that my robot in particular has some issues when going in reverse as one side seems to spin faster than the other. I can go forward straight, but reversing it always turns toward the right side. I haven't closely inspected it or taking it apart to see what may be going on, but it's consistent. The head has some fun blinking LED eyes and can be manually rotated. The arms are manually positioned as well. The remote control only controls the wheels underneath the robot and the sounds it makes. All in all, it's a very fun little toy and my nephew absolutely loves it.
