However, at the time I wrote this, Amazon says “Single Player Mode” in the description. There is a single player mode, but not in the actual product. This game is for players who can devote hours to reading the instructions and learning how to play. Do not recommend for the average board game player and certainly would not categorize this as a "party" game unless for Magic or D&D gamers or something.

Your starting character leads your expedition and along the way you add members to your group that either bring you lots of options (dice) for enmesh well with the others (points combinations). Glow plays quickly and remains engrossing, start to finish.
