Lots of buttons for kids to press and many sounds. It’s attractive and can be used as a teaching tool. The microphone part doesn’t work very well so I gave it four stars but all in all both my 2 and 4 year old grandkids thought it was great. Their favorite part besides opening and closing the cash drawer was the moving conveyor belt to get the groceries checked out. Worth the money and one of the better ones we have had. Let’s see how it holds up .

Received the first order and everything seemed to work fine except the calculator screen , so returned for a replacement and the second one the conveyer belt did not work. So we ended up purchasing a completely different one which was a bummer because this one had all the fun things to do and others don’t have all of the extras. Was disappointed. I would not recommend

My granddaughter had one of these that was a hand me down. She loved it so much I ended up buying a new one. She loves to play store. The buttons work abc make realistic sounds. It’s her favorite toy. NOTE: Does not come eight batteries. You’ll need three AA.

I got this register as a replacement to a smaller, less involved one that would randomly make high pitched sounds in the middle of the night and scare my boy. This one is SO MUCH COOLER! The microphone actually works, so “cleanup on aisle 3” is way more fun to say! And the conveyor belt is just awesome. It looks small, but it’s impressive. It didn’t work at first because we had old batteries, thankfully it works great with fresh ones. Our son asks to play grocery shopping just about every day now. There’s a lot of buttons and things to keep us busy. For extra fun, pull up YouTube on your phone and play old 70’s supermarket music lol , really adds that extra touch!

I bought this toy cash register after lots of research- the fact that it was voted best on the internet helped with my decision. HOWEVER apparently I have very different expectations when it comes to quality and functionality. Some things that were pointed out in the negatives in the reviews here are true- 1) the chord for the scanner is so short that it’s almost pointless- however (and I’m sure the makers with disagree) if you take the cash register side off (screws on the bottom) and you take the back off the scanner, you will find a knot in both ends of the chord- when untied, the chord is more useable. To prevent “pull” which is what I think they were going for, I put hot glue on both ends where the chord comes out of the toy. 2) Also note that the scale does register, but with very heavy items only. 3)The bar codes on the items do not work...they do not put a dollar amount on the screen and the “scanner” on the conveyor belt has to be pushed down in to get it to beep. 4) Also note that the convey belt is very loud-and so is the “pop up approved”. 5)The drawer barely opens. It can be pulled out a little farther than the spring ejects it to, but it is not that easy to get to the money (which is very cheap looking and feeling - the coins have different values printed on them, also in blue, but they are all the same size and are 10, 25 and 50 cents and the paper money came bent as it was in the bottom of the little basket. 6) The 4 items that came as groceries are all cardboard and held together by tape (plus 3 are junk food items) 7) the microphone speaker is under the toy so it’s barely audible 8) the little basket that comes with it is also almost pointless- when you put the 4 groceries inside, their is barely room for fingers to grab the handle, which because their is only 1, the whole basket tips. I really am very disappointed in this toy.

The first one I got didn’t work, and they sent me a replacement right away. The second one all works well but still the belt button is a little sensitive if you press it too hard it will get stock under, so you have to tell the kids to be gentle with it. Other than that it’s a cool toy. Super complete and my daughter loves it!

I love that this register has all the features! My kids have always wanted a huge play one but this small toy satisfied them. The only thing I wish was different would be the money. I would have liked to see real looking money with numbers that are actually on money and not a $12 bill.

Product has lots of play items. I think it will be a hit…when Santa delivers it. Item appears sturdy & durable—We’ll learn soon. It has lots of interactive & educational aspects. It was a great value compared to other like products.
