I used my box as an elevated planter for my pots so that I don’t have to bend down to tend to them. It was easy to put together, clear instructions and solidly crafted- I loved the cedar scent as soon as I opened it up. Since I’ve used it only for the purpose of keeping potted plants in it, I know it will hold up for my next season, as I plan to keep it protected from the elements. This garden bed ticks everything off on my check list. Made from cedar, was extremely easy to put together, no power tools required, sturdy, has held up to all Summer’s worth of extreme heat and watering, and it’s gorgeous! I would recommend placing it where you know you want it before filling with soil, it is heavy once full. I have successfully grown a variety of peppers my first attempt. Great design, smells strongly of cedar, easy to put together as one person. Plus, usually these type of products are hard to put together because holes aren’t lined up or instructions are vague. This one was super easy. I appreciate the shelf and piece of wood across the top to give support. Negative - the legs are pretty flimsy. I’m worried over time this won’t stand up. This garden bed is exactly what I was looking for to plant herbs on my front porch. It has a better construction and planting depth than most others. The cedar smells wonderful, so it’s the real deal. It was very easy to put together- only tools I used were a screwdriver and a pair of pliers to tighten the bolts once it was all put together. It took about 30 minutes to assemble from the time I opened the box because I took my time reading the instructions and making sure every piece was there. (I also had a cat “helping” me.) I did use a stapler to secure the fabric liner to the inside just to make it easier to get the soil inside. I used 5 cubic feet of raised bed soil mix- I may add more later on if it ends up significantly compacting down. Overall I highly recommend this raised planter. ... show more
