Got this for my 4 year old because he's around 50 lb. Regardless of what the picture shows there is actually a lot of padding on that blue 3 inch strap that goes between the butt and the groin. It definitely won't be shifting on my child and possibly irritating his butt which is fantastic. I love the fact that it separates the two separate strips the closer gets to the groin because that will also help prevent shifting. Great buy and I'm ecstatic.
