I like the design of these socket sets. I have bought multiple BOEN products and all of them seem to be fantastic. As everything tool related nowadays seems to be sourced from China in some way or another there is no need in overpaying for Chinese metal tools and that is why i opted to buy these BOEN sets because they are reasonably priced. The quality of these is not an issue because all of BOEN products exceed ANSI standards so performance and durability is not really an issue and as long as you are using the tools as intended i don't think you'll have a problem with these performance wise. The variety of sizes is a plus with this set because you never know what may need one day and every size is laser etched onto it's corresponding socket so every one is easy to read clearly along with raised numbers above the indentation where the socket sits so you will know where to return them into what slots if you remove multiple sockets from the case at any given time. Some people have left negative opinions about the case these come in saying that it doesn't hold them in place very well but i have no issue with that because if you keep the foam insert in the middle of the two sides that comes with every BOEN set and you aren't dropping and throwing this case around recklessly i don't think it'll be an issue for you. One nice touch with the BOEN socket sets is they have a oil glaze on all of the sockets when you recieve them so you don't have to oil them down yourself because as any tool owner knows humidity and the slightest bit of water will rust and ruin tools so they even thought of that for the consumer which i love. Every socket set BOEN sells has a lifetime warranty and in the case there's a card that explains how to activate the warranty and all it consists of is sending an email to the company and including the order number from Amazon and the serial number of the set which is printed on a sticker that is stuck to the back of the case itself and they'll send a confirmation email confirming that your lifetime warranty is active and if you have any issues arise to email them back whenever if need be. I hope this review helps you and i highly recommend this product to anyone.

This is for the 59 piece Impact Socket Set, SAE/Metric in Shallow and Deep, with Socket Wrench and 9-piece E-Torx Sockets: A. The blow molded box: solid and sturdy. It ought to last as long as I do. B. The sockets: also solidly manufactured with a high quality black manganese phosphate finish. C. The selection of tools included: SAE/Metric Sockets in Deep and Shallow, E-Torx Sockets, 3 Extension Bars, Hex Shank Drill Adaptor, and Universal Joint for Conversion to Impact Wrench, I appreciate that there were no tools included that were just meant to beef up the piece-count. The tools that are included are useful and would have cost good money if they were purchased separately. The set came with an anti-rust oil applied. For wetter parts of the country, this would be important. I wiped this off and applied a thin coating of Lucas CLP oil from my boomstick bench, because it has performed well on my collection. I also replaced the the thin layer of padding with a thin/high density pad that I happened to have on hand. This tightened up the set while transporting, but it wasn't necessary. I'm good to go and couldn't be happier with my investment. The quality of this set makes the price I paid for it well worth it... a genuine bargain IMHO.

This is the third set that I bought from Boen I have had great results with these tools. it is nice to have the socket sets like these for an impact use and in a hard case very easy to keep up with and store in my toolbox. I haven’t had any problem with these tool sets I have the half inch drive metric set and the SEA half-inch drive standard set in shallow sockets. This set here is my 3 8th Dr. set and it has metric and standard together and also give you a ratchet and extensions, which is nice. I’ve been using this company’s tools for several years now and have absolutely no complaints.

It turns out that I just got a bad ratchet with the set. As soon as I submitted my previous review, however, the seller got in touch with me immediately. After a bit of talking it over with them, they sent me a brand new ratchet, which I very happily received in just a few days. And the one they sent has the quality and feel which was advertised as part of the set, so it was likely just a manufacturing defect. Customer service is becoming a thing of the past with too many companies these days. But these guys? They made it right, right away. Few can ask for anything more.
