Great for child over 90 lbs
My child just hit over 90 lbs in weight (every youth jacket is buoyant up to 89 lbs) but was still too skinny for a regular adult jacket. This Adult Small is absolutely perfect. Also the bright Yellow is a very comforting color for a parent who wants to scan the water and find my child immediately. This is the first jacket I put him in that passed the over the head test. Needed a new life jacket for my day sailing activities in Dinghies (Sabot, if you know it). I'm a fairly big guy. I'm 6' tall, 265 lbs., Sizing seems to be an issue when buying a life jacket. A size may say 3XL (which is the shirt size I buy), but the 3XL wasn't even close to being big enough for me. I had purchased 2 other life jackets (one as 3XL and 1 as a 4XL. I had to return both of them. I took a chance that BODY GLOVE might get the sizing right. I bought the 4XL to 6XL (or, the biggest one they offered) and it's perfect. Fits great. I hate returning items, but when they just are not right, you gotta do it. Chinese products seem to always run "small". Maybe it's because they (typically being more slender in build) don't quite "get" what a "big guy" is. Hope this helped you. ... show more
