The wine cooler works well, and we are happy with the unit overall. I rated it a 4 star because it is quite noisy. I purchased this specific cooler because it advertised that it was whisper quiet. Well, it's not. It's actually louder than the cooler it replaced. I can hear it immediately upon entering the room. BUT, it is a great fridge... just not quiet.

We purchased this after our existing wine fridge was taken out by lightning. Overall it's a great fridge for the money. It's a single zone, so we keep mostly white wines in it. Although it will hold larger bottles such as champagne bottles, only the top shelf holds them by default. You can take out other shelves so that bubbly will fit, but you'll be able to put fewer bottles in it. Overall we've been very pleased with this one fridge!

I had this fridge for less than a week now. Straight out of the box, there were quality defects. I waited 24 hours to plug in the unit, per the instructions...the defects I found were.... 1) gaps around the edges of the door which allows air to seep out. 2) light scratches on the matte finish of the top of the fridge. Very visible because it is located in my living room. 3) VERY NOISY- Purchased this unit because it was advertised as "quiet" BUT it is NOT. The fan keeps running constantly-nonstop- and it is very very noisy. The sound is as loud as the fan on your cooking stove. Additionally, there is a second sound that makes a very wierd loud gurgling and clicking sound. I initially thought it was coming from outside but it was the fridge. 4) poorly designed lock- advertised "lock" is ridiculous. The lock does not keep the door closed. You can actually open the door about 1/2 an inch and it makes a clanking sound when you open it due to the metals clashing into each other, hence shaking the fridge and possible breaking it CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM VENDOR IS NON- EXISTENT: I tried to message the vendor, One Tree House via the Amazon messaging app and sent photos of the issues and sent multiple messages but no response. The unit is poorly designed and quality is not good. I am afraid that it will not last long. I will be returning the unit. The price was too good to be true. I am going to look into more reliable wine fridges with reliable and responsive customer service.

I bought this to replace another I purchased recently and did not like. This one has the full extension, removable slides that I wanted. It is smaller than the previous unit and still holds nearly the same number of bottles because they are so much easier to access. So many of my bottles tend to be a little fat, and that limits what a shelf can hold. The large space on the top shelf for stacking and the wide bottle slots on the bottom for pinots, etc., are very nice. It is a bit noisier than I hoped for, but then I have it directly behind my chair for watching TV. I checked temperature uniformity and I was impressed that is was so tight. The packaging couldn't have been much better. It was easy to attach the handle and ready to go without a training manual to set the temperatures. A good product.
