3rd Update (3/17/23): I finally received a new unit, replacing the initial unit I received and returned about five months ago. It works great this time and there are no mechanical defects, other than it was apparently built and shipped from the factory without the rear left leg mounted, so I had to install it with a fitted wedge... Not a big deal and I'm sure Bodega/OneTree will be helpful shipping a replacement leg. I remain very impressed with the build quality and great looks of the Bodega 176 unit. This cooler is taller compared to similar capacity units, which translated into increased shelf height. I have diverse collection of French, Italian, Californian, and other wines, and I did not have any bottle (excepts for a couple magnums that I'm storing elsewhere) that did not fit with good margin on the regular shelves, including Bourgogne/Beaujolais, Phelps Insignia, and thick vintage port bottles. I was therefore able to fit all my best bottles into the unit without any "label scraping" whatsoever. Very surprisingly, I comfortably fit 181 bottles without any bottle obscuring the cooling outflow. This is with 11 bottles in the lowest double-height rack (single depth) and 16 bottles in the highest double-height rack (double depth, but only put five bottles in top front to not obscure cooling flow). The regular shelves each store 11 bottles, 6 in front and 5 in rear. If you store magnums or very oversized bottles the max. capacity would be lower of course. All regular shelves slide out really smoothly and easily when fully loaded. Overall this unit gives a really solid and high-end impression. Only minor gripe is that the key lock feature is not really a theft safety feature as you can still open door about an inch when locked and it's pretty clear thieves could rip it off easily. Would be better if there was a lock in both top and bottom, with reduced lock tolerance. All in all, despite my initial issues, and minor gripes, this is a clear five-star unit. Incredible value, particularly with current 30% discount. 2nd Update: Bodega Support reached out and offered to ship me new unit with a discount. After much research, I had not been able to find a similar product with comparable quality. Although the first unit I received was defective, likely due to a lack of cooling fluid, I was very impressed with the build quality and also that the unit appears more spacious than most other products on the market. In comparison, I had seen a similar size Wine Enthusiast product on sale at CostCo and was shocked by the low build quality with shelves sliding without rollers and a generally flimsy construction. I'm hopeful that that the next unit will work as intended. Update: I have tried to work with "ONETREE HOME USA"/"Bodega Cooler" trying to arrange either a repair or a replacement/pickup transation. They have only responded on Amazon and always with obfuscations or absurd suggestions. They have never responded to multiple emails. They have finally offered that I buy a new unit at 50% discount, and I then get this refunded once I confirmed new unit operation. They did not mention what to do with return, but their general policy clearly states returns are at customers own cost (this could easily cost $3-400 or maybe more). I have instead arranged for Amazon Support to pick up the cooler for a full refund. Amazon has been great. This product when it works appears nice and of good quality, but the support is non-existent, and you will end up having to return the product (using Amazon) if it is dead on arrival (which from reviews seem common). Original Review: I received unit 3 days ago. Initially, I noticed one drawer was tight and would not extract fully, and also one drawer shelf was simply lying loose in the bottom of interior (still not sure if that is normal). Seller responded to defect report on Amazon messaging and requested videos, which I sent. No response received since then. After swithing on unit yesterday (waiting 48 hours) it turned out the unit is not cooling. Everything seems to be working fine but stays at 74F... I reported issue of not cooling, and still no response from vendor (ONETREE HOME USA/bodegacooler.com. It seems vendor support is located in Hong Kong, which means there is a lag in communication. They did have all day yesterday, Hong Kong time, to respond to my issues, though. At this point I am working with Amazon on a replacement or repair. Amazon Support also tried to contact vendor via phone but no response. Amazon Support has been great, as always. Until further notice, I cannot recommend purchasing anything from this company. The cooler does seem to be a great product, looks great, and appears to be solidly built. There are lights throughout and the functional drawers slide great and seem very stable. Works great Best Price I could find to replace my broken one. I like this one better than my last one. Fits wine more comfortably without having to remove racks. The ad states it will fit 176 bottles but I knew that wasn't true. You can see in the advertising photo that only 90 bottles fit and that is how many I was able to get in the one I received. ... show more

Bought this after extensive research of other brands. I had to have a unit whose door could be flipped to swing from the left side. For me this was a deal breaker. Fortunately a user review indicated that it was, so I bought it. On receipt, there was no mention in the user manual of reversability and on a cursory examination I couldn't see an easy way to reverse the hinging. So I sent a query to info@bodega.com per their manual and got a reply from treeserviceusa01 who replied in one day with a thank you and a copy of the user manual, but did not answer my question. This was obviously a canned reply which I pointed out in my reply to that, and asked them to do some research on how to reverse the door. After a week, they replied that their engineer said the door is not reversible. In the meantime, I had figured out how to reverse the door and had done so with relative ease (see instructions below). Obviously they had not done any research with a knowledgeable person. So I would rate their after service for this item as horrible. Now for those wanting to reverse the door, here's the steps. 1. With the door open locate and remove the two black plastic pieces covering the hinges, one at the top hinge, one at the bottom. These pop out easily using a small pry tool. The serve to prevent the hinge pins from slipping out of position which is only a problem with the upper hinge pin. 2. Remove the hinge pins while holding the door steady. THE DOOR IS HEAVY. You may want someone to help with this. 3. With the door off the hinges, you'll just need to move the hinges to the other side, move the bottom roller support to the other side, and relocate the locking tab on the door to the other side. There are holes and cover tabs for all of these. 4. Rehang the door on the newly positioned hinges and reinsert the hinge pins, and pin covers. This step is a little fiddley, requiring someone to steady the door while inserting the upper hinge pin. 5. Remove the upside down Bodega badge from the door and you're done. ... show more
