  • FR for Engineers
Color: Plaid 406 Size: Large
The best FR I have ever bought for my husband. He loves it and it fits great.

  • I’m a “cotton” guy and cotton shirts are getting difficult to find
Color: Heather Khaki Size: Medium
I’m also a long sleeve guy for the most part. Though I know how to weld and actually worked as a Boilermaker in my youth I didn’t buy this shirt for the fire retardant quality but for the cotton fabric. This is a lightweight welder’s shirt and I think that the breathable mesh is probably not made of cotton but I couldn’t find that information on the care instructions label. I have several fire retardant shirts and all of the others are heavy weight. I plan on purchasing more of these lightweight ones for warmer weather. I iron all of my shirts and this shirt irons up nicely. No fire retardant shirt is inexpensive but you do get what you pay for. The workmanship and materials are top notch. I wear a medium in most shirts and this one and all of my fire retardant shirts are generously sized. I will be buying more of these, so that basically says it all! ... show more

  • Size is terrible but nice shirt.
Color: Plaid 407 Size: Large
So these shirts are Short and wide. I am 6ft tall and 200 lbs. The sleeves barley make it to my wrists and have not been washed yet. They are too short in the waist if you want them tucked in and I feel like I need to take 2 inches out of the side seams. I like the material nice and light weight. They need to make tall and extra tall ... show more

  • High-Quality Work Shirt with an "Identity Crisis" High-Quality Work Shirt with an "Identity Crisis"
Color: Navy Size: 3X-Large
This is a well-constructed, comfortable shirt that bridges the gap between rugged workwear and a more polished dress shirt. The fabric has a substantial thickness to it, which feels intentional for protection during physical labor, yet it remains comfortable against the skin. The vented back is a thoughtful touch for temperature regulation while active. Fit and Function Protection: The weight of the fabric offers a layer of protection for outdoor tasks. It is marketed as fire-resistant, though I did not personally test this capability. The "Tail" Issue: My primary functional complaint is the length of the shirt tail. It is a bit too short for a work shirt; if you are bending over frequently, it doesn't provide enough coverage to prevent "plumber’s crack" moments. Maintenance: Be prepared to use an iron. This is not a "wash and wear" garment. Even after hanging for several days to let the wrinkles "fall out," the fabric remained heavily creased. I attached a picture showing how it looks after 2 days hanging up to "fall out" after washing and drying. Style & Versatility The shirt comes with a spare button and fabric swatch, giving it a premium feel similar to a dress shirt. However, it suffers from a bit of an identity crisis: The Potential: Without the branding, this could easily pass as a nice shirt for a casual dinner. The Reality: The prominent logo firmly anchors it in the "workwear" category. While it looks great, that logo means you’ll always look like you just stepped off the job site, regardless of where you are. Pros Substantial, comfortable fabric. Vented back for cooling. High-quality construction and "dress shirt" details. Cons Short tail length (lack of coverage when bending). Wrinkles significantly; requires ironing. Logo limits its versatility for non-work occasions. ---- How my star ratings work: 5 Stars: Very positive. High quality/design. Fully accomplishes goals. I’d likely buy again. 4 Stars: Positive. Good quality. Accomplishes goals, but there might be better alternatives. 3 Stars: Neutral. Medium quality or design quirks limit its utility. Caution advised. 2 Stars: Low quality. Design flaws make it hard to recommend. 1 Star: Negative experience. Serious flaws or poor quality. Not recommended. ... show more

  • Excellent shirt! Runs pretty large, though. Excellent shirt! Runs pretty large, though.
Color: Plaid 408 Size: X-Large
I have a few different shirts from this brand and the quality seems very good. You do pay for that quality but it's worth it. This particular shirt is made very well. It's 100% cotton, so it's going to wrinkle like crazy, just fyi. I really like the Western style. It's a theme that seems to be common in this brand. So if you like Western style work well, this is a good brand for you. I love the plaid pattern and design of this shirt! It looks so nice and the fact it has a place for a pen and (small) vents on the back is just icing on the cake. This shirt is perfect for a job supervisor or something that needs to look nice but maintain worksite safety. Also, I don't consider this shirt to be lightweight at all. It's normal weight of anything, maybe even medium heavy. But most of this brand's clothing is very heavy duty so this is a bit lightweight for them. I've often question what the FR rating these shirts have is all about. I mean, I look at the tag and it just says 100% cotton. It seems like it should have some sort of a treatment listed, so I did a little research. This brand's FR clothing actually goes through a bunch of testing and there's some independent testing out there, too. So I think these shirts have earned their FR rating. This shirt seems to run a full size large. I normally wear an XL and I'm pretty sure a Large would fit me better. Maybe they're just roomy, but I don't have a Large to compare to. I hate it that I can't wear this shirt because it's so large! Even the sleeves come down to my knuckles. Currently listed at $45, I think it's a good value, as in priced right for the quality and durability. The styling is great. I just wish they could introduce some Tall versions based on some reviews, and get their sizing to run closer to what people are used to. ... show more
