I would like to give these 5 stars but the did get here a day late. Not a huge deal although. 3 or so of the tubes did have a tiny hole in it which is unfortunate but metal paint tubes break all the time. Just from squeezing the paint in the tube they do feel quite firm which is what I was hoping after hearing the paints were being reworked with help from the CRI’s that teach this technique. Will update after a painting or 2 to see how they actually look and feel! Update: Changed to 5 ⭐️ I mixed the paint in the tubes before painting and they are very good quality and great for the technique. There was 2 tubes that had tiny holes not 3. Again not a huge deal just wore gloves when getting paint and pinch where the hole was. The colors are great and like I said they are great for this painting style. I’m 100% getting these or the 200ml tubes again!! By the way the paint came in 2 boxes and the first box they were packaged well organized the picture just shows all 14 paint colors. If you struggle getting breaks in the paint for mountains grab lowers on the handle of the pallet knife while turning the end of the handle to your dominant shoulder. It’ll help with getting less pressure on the paint when touching the canvas. ... show more

I just started painting and was hesitant to sheIl out for this paint set, but I’m glad I did. The paints are beautiful and easy to work with. Plus, they really last. I have been using this set for almost a year now. I’ve done almost 30 paintings of various sizes. I have only needed to replace the titanium white and Van Dyke Brown so far. Most of the bright colors will probably last me years. ... show more

Way better to get all the colors, then buy the starter kit and be missing half the colors. Buy this instead of the kit!
