  • I found my all-weather performance sheets! Baby SOFTTTTTTTTT!
Color: C. Hotel White Size: King
I've always wanted to source my sheets directly from the mills to cut down the middlemen and thank you amazon for making this happen. I was skeptical about the the price of these sheets as they seemed way cheaper than some of the name brand stores and I decided to do some research before I bought. After reading about Threadmill, I wanted to know if these guys are really authentic and started writing to them to get more information about these sheets. Most of my questions about the thread count, ply, weight, yarn size and even sourcing of supima cotton was patiently answered. Try getting answers from a Macy's or Bloomingdales' sales person! Once I was convinced, I put the order in and two days later, I was pleasantly surprised when the product arrived. First, it passed the eye test. The packaging was as defined and initial look, feel and weight satisfied my expectations. Well, then came the wash test. Phew...NO SHRINKAGE, STILL PERFECT WEIGHT, AND SOFT!!! The crazy DC weather gave me an opportunity to try both summer and winter within days apart as we hit 76 degrees one day and 30s the next. The sheets tented well to keep me cool and are also thick and warm for the cold nights. This could be my all-weather performance sheets even though I want to give their 1200 TC a shot. I'm a happy customer and Threadmill has a fan in me. Hope this helps. Happy sleeping y'all! ... show more

  • Is there any sheet better? I don't think so.
Color: C. Hotel White Size: King
I'm a man, 60+, and I've slept on relatives sheets, hotel sheets, airbnb sheets, and sheets in some fine hotels in Europe. I know when something feels good. I buy clothing as much for the feel as I do for the style. If you want a terrific, and maybe the best sheet set you've ever felt, these are it. Thread count, schmed count. It really doesn't mean much. BUT...ELS cotton (Extra Long Staple cotton) is what you need to look for. ELS cotton means that the fabric is made from the longest threads of cotton that's made. These can be "lifetime" sheets. Wash in cold water with good detergent (Persil, Tide). DON'T BLEACH! (If you bleach any fabric it will shorten its life by damaging the fabric, slightly, every time you use it. AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING...Wash these sheets on Ultra Low heat. Why? Because you don't want to damage the sheets and you can see it for yourselves. Look at the lint screen. If you get lint...that's fabric coming off your fabric, making it weaker, and will have a short life. On Ultra Low, you will have very little to NO LINT AT ALL. That is no BS. I've had these sheets for 3 years. Yes, it takes longer to dry, but you're saving money. It's the dryer heat that runs up your bills...not the tumbling. These are the sheets you sleep on in heaven...HA! ... show more

  • Not so great sheets
Color: C. Hotel White Size: California King
Nicest sheets I have had for a long time. The fit is generous and they are much better fabric that the ones I have been using. The wrinkles practically disappear when they are on the bed. They even had less wrinkles the next day after I had folded and stored them overnight. Smooth and crisp, which is how I like my sheets. They are cool to the touch when I first get in bed. I especially like the fact that they don't just collapse and stretch quickly because I have a 3" foam pad on the bed and cheaper, thinner sheets are almost immediately wrinkly under my feet. These stay smooth much longer. I definitely do not want to sink into a cloud! I have used these sheets for about 6 months. They are now 10 inches too short and I had to stop using them. They were destroying my bed. They are still wide enough, but the length shrank horribly. They are obviously not pre-shrunk. I wash and dry my sheets every one or two days, so I don't expect them to last as long as they would it they were being washed only one day a week, but I have never had sheets shrink this way before. I dry them on low or med. heat level. I have had cotton sheets in the past that lasted over 5 years. Most last about 1 year. I thought I would buy these again, but I will have to take that back. The only downside I can see is they may be too hot for a very hot muggy southern climate. We use fewer blankets with these because, being denser fabric, they are warmer. Neither me nor my husband have had a problem with being uncomfortable in the summer with these, and we live in a moderately humid climate. ... show more

  • thought I liked them, but then...
Color: B. Ivory Size: Queen
These sheets felt wonderful. nice heft and luxury feel. Sadly, they shrink - a lot. In fact they eventually shrunk so much, I could no longer get the fitted sheet to go on the mattress, and pillowcases did not cover the entire pillow. very disappointed as I liked the feel of them. I guess, if I had known - I could have skipped drying in the clothes dryer - but since I don't have a clothes line big enough for sheets, this is not a viable option for me. ... show more

  • 100% Supima cotton, 1000 thread count, Queen set
Color: C. Hotel White Size: Queen
What a person is looking for in quality bed linen is quite subjective. Some prefer softness of flannel, others prefer crispness, and still others want wrinkle-free. This 1000 thread count cotton set reminds me of a man's high quality 100% cotton dress shirt. It has a certain "heaviness" to the fabric that some may not like, and in some reviews has been compared to light-weight canvas. It is this density and heaviness of the weave that I like about this product. If this is not to your taste, you may want to select a lower thread count. We have used and washed this set twice now and the fabric holds up quite well. I think as time goes on, this set will only improve with use. I am quite pleased with my purchase. ... show more
