  • 🔒🚤 The Best Boat Tie-Downs You’ll Ever Use! ⚓️💯
These BoatBuckle G2 Retractable Transom Tie-Downs are a total game changer. I’ve tried a bunch of tie-downs over the years, and nothing comes close to how easy, clean, and secure these feel. The retractable design means no more tangled mess or loose straps flying around—just click, tighten, and done. Super smooth every time! 🎯 The stainless steel build is solid and made to last, even in saltwater conditions. I’ve used these on several trips already and they’re still holding strong, no rust, no issues. Plus, they look sleek and professional mounted on the trailer—no more ugly old straps. 😎🛠️ Installation took just minutes, and I honestly wish I had picked these up sooner. If you care about your boat and don’t want to deal with strap headaches ever again, these are it. Trust me—buy once, cry never. 💪🚀 ... show more

  • Just what I needed.
Style: Alloy Steel (Freshwater)
These BoatBuckle G2 Transom tie downs were exactly what I needed. The correct size, easy to mount and work great. Excellent quality. These couldn't have been easier to install. Love them.

  • Works well!
Style: Alloy Steel (Freshwater)
Replaced the separate strap with these attached tie downs. So much easier and faster to use than the strap across the back of the boat. Sturdy and durable. Little trouble putting on the trailer but likely due to the trailer configuration and not the tie downs fault.

  • Works Great

This is a great item, makes life alot easier when strapping dn the boat at the boat dock. No more guessing as how tight to make it. No more risk of scratching the boat or gel coat. Just press the button, pull strap up and ratchet it tight. Very nice, very easy, it is also very easy to mount, but i do suggest you order the extra mounting parts, incase ,like my boat , the position in which i had to mount the buckle was way to forward, put to much angle on straps, the extra mount brackets, added extra length to eliminate that angle. You will thank your self every time you take your boat out. I got heavy duty, i used my own bolts , only because i dont like nila lock nuts. If you use stainless nuts and bolts you must tighten them slowly, if you try to use power tools they will freeze up the nuts before they tighten, that's Normal with stainless, if you use power tools or try to tighten stainless nuts and bolts to fast , its a Gamble as to weather they freeze up or not, if they do its a night mare to get them off, just use a little anti seize and a ratchet and you will be fine. ... show more

  • I used them for a jet ski. They are capable of much heavier duty service, and seem to work flawlessly. Great buy.
If you're in the market, these are the ones you want. Much better than the cheap straps that came on the trailer. I'm unsure how these will do season after season, but my first impression after a couple launches is quite positive. The mounting hardware (two bolts, two nuts) were not the same size, so all the hardware got tossed and replaced with stainless hardware locally purchased. Go with stainless locking nuts as well. The instructions suggest using a single mounting bolt, but the pattern on the strap assembly is set to accommodate two bolts. I went with two bolts on each side. I had to grind flat spots in the washers because they're spaced pretty closely together, but it's quite secure this way. They release well and easily while under pressure, the gaps between cogs aren't too far apart so you can get it in that sweet spot of tight, but not too tight. My trailer came with the el cheapo version of the same concept, and the recoiler mechanism broke and wouldn't release the first time I tried to launch. These were built for a much heavier duty purpose, so they feel like they'll last a decade. If you're going to attempt to do the two bolts per, you could repeat my process. I pressed (you could tape) a piece of paper to the mounting plate and lightly pressed on the depressions made by the bolt holes with a pencil which gave me the correct spacing. Measure center to center to be certain, but this gives you something to drill through for the mounting process. Also, if you drill with a bit 1 size too small, then enlarge the hole with the correct size, it will nearly always clean off the burrs on the backside where you would otherwise slice your fingers while trying to afix hardware. The instructions specify that you should have a minimum of 12 inches of strap. There's no obvious reason for this specification. I tried ratcheting until the hook reached the housing, and it seemed to work just fine. Congrats on finding your new transom tie downs. These will speed up your launch and leave times by ten minutes or more. I took off a star, but only because the mounting hardware was plain wrong. (Bolt was correct size, but the nut didn't fit the bolt. Shredded threads when I tightened for giggles) ... show more

  • Great buy. I recommend.
Style: Alloy Steel (Freshwater)
Glad i bought the $3-4 dollar add on brackets to give that extra inch or two from the tail light for my fat fingers. They are extremely easy to put on, and use. Pull, hook, crank once or tight til snug. Easy release! Well worth the money I paid. Took maybe, 5 min per side with a crescent wrench and a socket. I bolted the bracket to the buckle, then mounted to boat frame. One has a Nylon lock nut, and the other has a lock bolt for the frame side, so, i dont think it will be coming lose any time soon. I recommend. Oh, I have a T-18 Tahoe ski boat from bass pro shop with standard trailer. I bought because the straps that came with the trailer, my kid unwound the strap, and could not figure out how to rethread it back in the buckle. lol ... show more
