I had high hopes for this "Heavy Duty" 3500lb hand winch. Mounted it on my tow dolly last fall. Tried to use it for the first time today and it failed to pull my son's 1/2 ton truck up on the dolly. The teeth in the gear started bend and jammed up, when the truck almost got fully on the dolly. Just cheap metal used for making the gears. This winch probably would work fine if just pulling a boat up on to a trailer with no real load on it. looks pretty though. lol
