Exactly what I needed to mount 2 flags on my patio and the hardware is strong. Usually when you buy things like this at such a low price point you’d think it came with cheap hardware but nothing could be further from the truth. These flag poles are mounted firmly with flags waving perfectly. All of the hardware is strong metal including the flag poles. I’m very happy and satisfied with my purchase. The one recommendation I would make is use some pliers to tighten the nuts because hand tightening won’t make it stable enough for a very windy day. ... show more

The bolts are a little long, but we went to the local hardware store and got rubber caps for the ends for protection. Love being able to fly a flag now.

The basic hardware to attach to railings is decently made but the poles threadings are so soft and loose that they just sit on top of each other rather than threading together. Any bump will have the sections fall apart. Will need to either clamp them or throw them out. I wouldnt trust them on a stationary vehicle, much less a boat. ... show more

    • Looks Good. Functions Not So Good.
The flag base is very big and cumbersome and the screws are way too long for any normal boat rail. No matter how tight I tightened the screws it would not tighten to my round rail tight enough to keep it upright when underway - the base just doesn't have a good design. The pole was good - ample length and nice quality. But the flag clips would not screw to the pole tightly. They are plastic and if you try to screw down tight they just spin and spin. So the flag will not stand up straight due to the base and will not stay on the pole properly because of the clips. I will say it looked really good - it just didn't function well.
