I did not want to purchase the old style "balloon" fenders and ran across this new style of fenders while researching. I decided to purchase the Sebnux from Amazon after reading the reviews and the price seemed more competitive than one of the more notable brands I had been looking at. I was a little skeptical about this style of boat fenders but let me tell you these are great. They are so easy to use, no ropes to worry about and they truly lock onto the side of your boat. One other plus is they are more compact than the balloon style.

These haven't shredded or sun-faded after a full season. Pro-tip: Your dock lines go through the opening at the top. I feel really dumb that I didn't realize that at first. This really helps keep everything properly aligned.

These appear to be very durable and easy to use. The foam is a nice dense material that is non-marking and is a nice appealing color with an affective shape. The adjustability of the push button tensioner makes it quick and easy for your inexperienced dock helpers and still leaves space on the cleats for dock lines. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is they tend to not stay in place when there is room for them to move around or if the boat is rocking; if this is something that is critical to your application I would look for some with suction cups.

Overall, I'm quite pleased with these fenders. The quality of the material is excellent, and they look much nicer than typical fenders. However, there is one not-so-small issue that concerns me – the adjustment plastics box. It seems like it could potentially damage the boat if it gets hit from certain angles. This drawback prevents me from giving the product a perfect 5-star rating. If the manufacturer addresses this issue, these fenders would be a top-notch product. Despite this concern, I still find them to be a worthwhile purchase, considering their overall quality and appearance.

These work great for my Mariah due to the curved design and actually sit high enough to protect the rub rail. Quick and easy to deploy weather you attach them to the boat's cleats or the pilings. Take up less space than most other styles of fenders too.
