I did not want to purchase the old style "balloon" fenders and ran across this new style of fenders while researching. I decided to purchase the Sebnux from Amazon after reading the reviews and the price seemed more competitive than one of the more notable brands I had been looking at. I was a little skeptical about this style of boat fenders but let me tell you these are great. They are so easy to use, no ropes to worry about and they truly lock onto the side of your boat. One other plus is they are more compact than the balloon style.

These work great for my Mariah due to the curved design and actually sit high enough to protect the rub rail. Quick and easy to deploy weather you attach them to the boat's cleats or the pilings. Take up less space than most other styles of fenders too.

These appear to be very durable and easy to use. The foam is a nice dense material that is non-marking and is a nice appealing color with an affective shape. The adjustability of the push button tensioner makes it quick and easy for your inexperienced dock helpers and still leaves space on the cleats for dock lines. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is they tend to not stay in place when there is room for them to move around or if the boat is rocking; if this is something that is critical to your application I would look for some with suction cups.

We lover this bumper and use it for when we are out for the day on water and pull up to a visiting restaurant dock for lunch. Like that it is thick, sturdy but flatter than a round norm bumper, so it takes up less space on boat for storage. We are looking forward to additional purchases of this bumper.

After 1 use I'm impressed, and am loving this purchase. My smaller Yamaha AR195 site low to the water. I originally purchase a more traditional black bumper, but found in some situations that would actually catch under the lip of a dock. We couldn't get them high enough onto the cleat to e effective. This new style offers the attachment point a little below the top of the bumper, therefore allowing it rest slightly above the cleat. Not to mention, when we have visitors on the boat, they're more easily able to help put the bumpers on and off, without conflating a crazy version of wrapping and figuring eight-ing the rope around the cleat (as newbies are never sure how to secure).

Not a fan. They tend to float in salt water and therefore don’t provide consistent protection for our hull. I’m going to go back to traditional for our 20’ boat.
