I give this 5 stars because even though some features are not as good as other lines I've purchased, this is still at or above the more expensive lines you pay up for at the marine stores. Is it just another dock line? Compare the clip, attachment, and rope quality. Is the "Clip" an actual 316 stainless carabineer with an eye loop for the poly rope to be spliced to? Or more of an extended 'S' hook with the splice attachment onto the bottom of the 'S' shape. Hint - this is the 'S' hook type. The description says "stainless", not 316 stainless and the 'S' hook is coated rather than exposed which says something about how well it may hold up. The carabineer type with a separate eye for the splice attachment keeps the splice from interfering with the function of the clip itself. That's one aspect that sets one line set from another. The splice on this set is separated at the bottom of the 'S' so sort of accomplishes the same thing, less gracefully tho. The clip itself is thin and is looped through the 'S' very close to end of the bend. To me that's vulnerable. The spring on the clip is not that strong so to me, if it were to be stressed, e.g. on a mooring rather than a protected boat slip or if the boat is heavy vs a light inflatable, I can't say I'd be comfortable relying on it holding. I'm not confident enough with this line that if I tied off my boat in a stressed situation I'd feel confident that it'd be there when I come back. The splice - is more of a knot that looks kind of like a splice. If you look close at the picture, that looks kind of fat for something that was actually a true braided splice. Poly rope is not all the same, different strengths etc, but you cant necessarily tell by the feel so they feel the same from one to the next. So in this case you're relying on the strength of the bungee inside the braided line. There are specs in the description but unless I take the time to compare those with others or with what LB stress is appropriate for my situation, the numbers have little meaning I'd recommend these if your use is light duty and you're not tying up for extended time periods where the boat is going to be stressed.

Got these specifically for quick docking while launching the boat. As I often have to launch alone, I like having something I can use quickly to make the process faster for my fellow ramp users. These totally fit the bill! They might be a tad undersized for my 19ft bow rider, but they've been doing the job splendidly so far! No complaints and highly recommended! Will update if quality becomes an issue!

I ordered these bungee style dock lines for my boat loving husband. We have both a wakeboard boat and a houseboat, so our tie up style needs to be very flexible. These dock lines were an absolute hit for a few reasons! ⚓️ LENGTH: these lines are a great length. They’re about 4’ when they’re not stretched, and 7’ when they are. This makes it easy for us to tie up to the houseboat… or to the dock at a restaurant… or to another boat. They’re very versatile! ⚓️ DESIGN: not only are these ropes a nice black, red and blue design— which I imagine won’t show scum or dirt when they get wet, all the loops and other features are very handy. My husband started playing with them immediately, saying that they will go great around the cleats. ⚓️DURABILITY: these lines feel nice and solid. They’re heavy, well made, and seem like they will definitely last for more than one season. Boating is an expensive hobby, but if you’re looking for a great gift on a budget— I highly suggest these dock lines!!! They were a huge hit!

Product arrived in new condition consistent with the product description. As you can see in the second attached photo, the rope did arrive with some defects as the threads were already unraveling - this does not reflect good quality and I wonder how it will hold up with time. I ordered this for use with my inflatable kayak and it works fine for that purpose. I think if you order this for low stress use as I did, it will be fine. I would not plan to use this if I owned a real boat, however.

These dock lines are great. I wish they had a little more tension before maxing out with elasticity. Other than that, I like them. They’re durable and will likely hold up well over multiple seasons. Price is reasonable and the overall appearance looks good.

Ordered these Boat Bungee Dock Lines, Sportneer Boat Accessories Dock Rope 2 Pack Boat Lines to attach the seadoo to the dock this summer. After opening and inspecting the product I am really excited to actually use them. The only issue I can think of ahead of time is that the length is fairly fixed, so getting them in the correct tension range between a cleat and the attachment points on the boat may be tricky. The build quality is excellent though. These came wrapped up as two bundled cords. Stoked on how much reinforcing there is around the bungee itself, these are more like a robust dock line with a little bit of stretch. Felt to me more like 6-8 inches of stretch per line but could be as much as a foot if you really yank on them. The floats are awesome as are the carabiners on the one end. Lots of flexibility in the way these connect to the dock or boat. Look forward to using them this summer on the water. Given the floats was thinking that it would work great as a float anchor connector to attach the boat in the water and not worry about the rope sinking or being lost. Construction quality is good and I recommend them.

This pair of dock lines that are bungee are awesome! They are presently holding down my Jet Ski. They are easy to use and I love that one end is a secure clip and the other end is a loop. It made for easy attachment points. Everything is secure and tight. Foam floats are included. I have no worries about either one breaking - heavy duty.
