We use this screw for our boards. We’re usually in a current due to the tides. Holds strong for our use. We will tether together multiple paddle boards at a time. Breaking it apart the button is pretty stiff . Well worth it.

At 30 bucks, it might be a good deal except for the fact that the button to put the 2 pieces together does not lineup. It will require some drilling to make it useful. The metal seems to be high quality and it would have gotten 5 stars, I think, if it had worked properly. With the button not lining up, I cannot give it 5 stars. ... show more

This was able to keep the boat anchored to the beach. This was inexpensive purchase. It works well and takes it very little space in the boat.
