I've taken this out on several excursions now and so far it's held up great it's a solid anchor for any small water craft. This is called a 'plow' style anchor since it resembles an old farmers plow that was pulled by a horse. It is this style anchor most commonly seen on the larger and more expensive yachts. I've not seen one this small before. It's a great anchor that holds really well for my 16ft inflatable. I wasn't expecting the super durable drawstring bag it came with. This bag makes it even more suitable for my inflatable since you never want heavy bare metal objects left on inflatable surface to avoid chaffing or punctures.
