I now have three pairs of blundstones, the heeled boots, the sneaker boots and these ones. With each new pair I find they all have the same level of quality, fit, detail, and aesthetic. Before I bought my first pair my sister told me they don't stretch at all but that is not true! Get your true size! They are pretty tight when you first get them, and can be difficult to put on and take off, but breaking them in is so worth it! These are going to last forever. So cute, so comfortable and great all weather boots. I wear them in the rain, hiking, walking around town, to church, to the grocery store, to look nice, to look casual. they do it all. (In really heavy rain they may not repell all the water so your feet may get wet as they are not completely waterproof. I think it might be the mesh siding that allows leaking but in normal rain conditions (and I live in the rain capital of the United States so I go out in a lot of rain) they hold up great!) ... show more

I have been looking for a comfortable pair of Chelsea style boots that fit for a long time and I haven't been successful, until now! Let me add that I have a hard size to find - women’s 10.5. I am very happy with the boots thus far. I put them on out of the box the other day. Today I wore them traipsing around downtown Washington, and my feet felt great! It was drizzly, and my feet stayed dry. I ordered a medium boot and found them to be true to size. If you wear a women’s 10.5, that translates to a 7.5 for this Australian boot. Once you get them on, the toe box is a little loose, but not in an uncomfortable way. It just gives you room for socks and for your feet to spread out a little in the boot. These are perfect!! My RT foot is a sz 9.5/10 and left foot is 9/9.5/10. These fit both my feet with the help of insoles. I used 2 different insoles,the thinset 1 in my right boot and a little thicker in my left boot. I have nearly completely flat feet, so I don't like or need arch support and medium to narrow feet. I just needed the insoles to cushion and to help them be a little less clunky feeling inside. I have ordered no less than 20pairs of boots this past year hoping for a good fit (including every style of ECCO, Alegria, etc) all were too snug on my right foot. So, I was soooo thrilled by the little extra room my toes had on my right boot. They were snug to put on, but not impossible with the use of the pills on the back and front. I wore them outside right out of the box and I never do this. I usually wear them around the house for days and end up returning them. I also love the black color. Since I live in the NW I put some mink oil on them to protect from the rain somewhat. Also, even with my size 10 they dont look to clunky on my feet and they are not too heavy (weight wise). Much light than the Doc Martin's I was looking at. I love how good they look with everything and I have gotten soo many compliments on how good they look. ... show more

These shoes are awesome after wearing for a few weeks. At the beginning they were very tight and hard to get on and off. But after wearing them in, they are amazing and waterproof.

One of the biggest things i struggled when looking at purchasing these boots was what size to buy. I wear a 39 birkenstock sandal, 9 womens van, 8.5 womens converse, 9 chaco sandal, 9.5 in nike and brooks running shoe, 8.5 in ariat and coral boots. I ordered a US womens 9 (6 AU). They fit wonderfully. I can wear my everyday fun graphic socks or thicker smartwool socks if needed. As far as the reviews of them being difficult to put on/take off, i did not find that to be the case. I have average size ankles and did not have any problems. Reminded me of a good click of a cowboy boot. I have worn these for 5 days straight now and have nothing but good things to say. I wear another pair of birkenstock chelsea boots quite frequently so i didn't have to worry about my legs getting used to the height of the boots. My shins were a little sore the first time i work this style boot, but that goes away. I would definitely recommend these boots. Classic look, can be dressed up or down. ... show more

Cute look, great fit in the foot BUT: IMPOSSIBLE to take off the boots without help. Very narrow throat makes it hard to get your foot into or out of the boot without a LOT of effort. The angle between arch and support is too stiff/inflexible, even with your foot maximally pointed the boot won't come off. My husband had to pull and twist to get them off my feet. I called Blundstone support, was told that this is a known issue for this model, and that "with time" the throat/arch would widen enough to slip on/off with no problem... but after a month it was still not much easier. I bought the boot on Amazon from a 3rd party vendor with a "no-use" return policy, so I ended up paying a cobbler to stretch the boots' necks enough for me to dress/undress myself like a big girl. This fix did not impact the fit or look. But it did cost me extra. If you are considering buying this boot, look for it IRL and try it on/OFF first. ... show more
