I have always been a lover of scents and while I never wear any colognes or scents myself, I use my gf as a test subject hoping to find a scent we'll both like. I am very attracted to scents that I think have a somewhat mystical edge to them and my first favorite, years ago, was Shalimar (a scent that has been around since 1925) and it's still one of my favorites. I also really really love Jessica McClintock--and it's not that expensive. OK, so this perfume has an interesting scent, but it's kind of hard to identify what it is (and there are few hints on the label, but I'm getting some citrus and some vanilla, I think. I am not addicted to the scent, but it's pleasant and it's not at all a strong perfume--it lingers very gently and for that reason I think it's a nice perfume for misting a scarf or even a collar in addition to your skin. The thing about perfume that I'm not sure everyone gets is that it changes its personality drastically depending on the body chemistry of the person wearing it and you have to keep that in mind. The best way to choose any perfume is, of course, to walk into a store and user their tester and see how you like it an hour later. (Though it cracks me up to see woman spraying on three different scents!) I'd say try this perfume first if you can, but if you want a light and interesting kind of exotic/slightly spicy scent, I think you'll like this Escada Celebrate Now Eau De Parfum.

I do think that this perfume is overwhelming at first. It's very strong ( 3 spritzes!) But it does mellow out and is a very pleasing scent. My husband loves it, so that's good enough for me. At first it smelled overly floral, but then that quieted down . The scent lasts a long time. I don't spritz it on me anymore, I do the spritz and walk through.

The bottle looks pretty and the floral pattern on them made me think the scent would be too sweet. It wasn't. However, the bottle itself doesn't have any info on what the notes are which is annoying. On me, the scent is more cinnamon and vanilla. I don't smell any ginger. Overall a nice scent. It does last for about 4 hours. I recommend it.

This scent reminds me of crowded department store elevators where, invariably, someone steps in who has spent a little too much time in the perfume department before deciding go to the upper floors. What I mean by that in the context of this perfume is that it seems to be a somewhat confused mix of all kinds of scent notes, mostly floral, spicy, and exotic. It is also a very heavy perfume. The packaging makes it look as though it will be a lovely light fragrance, but it really has some seriously overpowering notes happening. Although the scent is not exactly what some might call "old lady" (I think a much better word for this scent is "smoldering"), the overpowering element does apply to the old lady description a bit. A very little goes a long way, and for me this perfume is just way too prominent. This might be a good choice for those who like the scent of their perfume to enter rooms before they do, but I prefer perfumes that stay closer to my personal space and have a bit more clarity to them.

This Escada Celebrate Now Eau De Parfum is a lovely scent but it simply does not last long at all. When I first spray it, I get a sweet floral with an almost fruity quality about it and vanilla. I get no ginger or cinnamon. I can't tell you what it smells like after a while because it doesn't last long enough to tell! From what I can tell, this scent was released in 2017. This light, feminine scent seems appropriate for any age group and seems to be more of a spring scent as it is not heavy or spicy enough for fall and winter. I wish it had more staying power because it's nice right out of the bottle. The bottle is very pretty too.

I love the bottle that this eu de parfume comes it. It looks like it would be a light romantic scent. Fragrances blend with body oils and smell different on different people, but this one didn’t do it for me. It has a flowery, virus and a little vanilla. It had kind of a common, nondescript scent, at least on my skin. It was also a little overpowering. I sprayed some on my wrist one day and a fleece jacket that I was wearing came in contact with it after it was dry. I could smell it on the sleeve even after I washed the jacket. It really seems to cling. A little goes a long way. I should mention that a lot of perfumes that I like on other people don’t smell the same on me. Perhaps this was one of them.
