  • Solid, smart and lots of power
Style: BLUETTI AC180
This isn't the new AC240, but it's half the weight and half the cost. At around 35 pounds, it's manageable. As many reviewers have noted, the top side handles are solid and functional. It can power a refrigerator, a 1000-1500 watt heater, hair dryer, or numerous power tools. During a power outage, your household power might go out, but the cable signal remains available. The AC180 can power your cable modem, Wi-Fi router, and even a TV—I've tested it myself. During a power outage, having the ability to run household appliances (you know which ones) is invaluable. It can also power medical equipment such as CPAP machines. During rolling power outages or when the power quality is poor, the UPS feature performs admirably. Additionally, it charges your mobile devices, laptops, and tablets without any issues. ... show more

  • Need a good backup or portable power supply? Look no further.
Style: BLUETTI AC180
Bottom line: If you can find this on sale, don't hesitate. If you can only get it at regular price, it's still a strong contender. Pros: 1800W advertised continuous with decent surge power overhead (and it might do more, but YMMV) More than 1100Wh capacity as advertised Built-in solar charge controller/DC input as well as mains fast charging capability UPS mode to provide continuous power for those critical devices Cons: When the fans are fully running, it can get slightly (but not overly) noisy. DC charge efficiency isn't the highest (but it's still more than adequate) No option for full-load battery expansion (this is the only TRUE con I have found!) I was floored by this one when I picked it up on sale. It's surprisingly capable for light to medium loads. Maybe it's not perfect, but I doubt we'll get any closer any time soon and for anywhere near the price. If you're knowledgeable enough to safely build and deploy one, a DIY power backup kit might cost slightly less than the AC180 would on sale. However, a DIY monstrosity will end up falling short in nearly every way. For the price point, feature set, and quality, the AC180 really can't be beaten. For the slight price difference, this one is well worth paying the "Convenience Tax" and enjoying the additional features and flexibility you'll get with it. ... show more

  • Works great
Style: BLUETTI AC180+2 120W Solar Panel
I purchased the AC180 and 200W solar panels. Expensive but works great during frequent power outages, very safe indoor power supply.

  • Specs are great, warranty not so much
Style: BLUETTI AC180
The specs on this Power Station are great and I had high hopes. The BlueTooth App has a lot of features and is very intuitive, at least to me. Through the App you have fine control over settings like ECO time to shutdown for AC and DC, settings for UPS, and low/med/high for charging wattage. The App also works well without Internet. I haven’t tested the Solar, but the 60v limit is ideal for two panels in series. THE BAD: The AC side is extremely inefficient on low wattage (<200w) loads like CPAP machines. Running my CPAP on DC is a HUGE improvement. This is normal on these units with high (1,800w) AC capacity inverters, but is still a negative. ***I had to use the Warranty because my unit arrived defective from Amazon. It took 21 days and many emails before a replacement arrived. This just sets the Base-Line for expectations for a 5-year warranty. Overall, I have buyers remorse. I wish I had waited to get the newer 1,440wh units which are the same size and weight. But I will make this work. [Update 3-Mar-23] The seller contacted me saying they were sorry my experience wasn't perfect. They offered a small, good quality camping cook set to make up for it. It was a nice gesture and is appreciated. ... show more

  • Nicely updated features on this handy sized Bluetti Solar Generator. Improved Display.
Style: BLUETTI AC180+Acid to DC7909 Cable
Perfect product placement of this Bluetti Solar Generator. Nice power output and energy storage on this unit. The display is a big upgrade over some previous Bluetti products that had bar graphs and dim hard to read displays. This display on this one is big, bright and easy to see inside or outside. Charges up nicely with solar panels. The weight is fine for moving around but depending on the person you may want to put it on a wheeled dolly for easy movement on hard floors? Easy to grab with two hands and I think about 35 or 40 pounds so most people should find it very portable. Improved buttons that light up green when pressed so it is easy to see which sections of generator are turned on. Seems like a nice clean looking design to me. Can take up to 500 watts of solar panel input so given good sun conditions it can be charged up in a very reasonable amount of time. Lots of videos of people using these online. That 1800 Watt AC output can run so many different appliances but realize that given the storage capacity of this unit it won't run high input appliances for hours on end because it only has 1152 Watt hours of storage. Not a problem just mention it because for instance it might only take 3 or 4 minutes to make a pot of coffee but if you leave the coffee pot on it may be drawing some serious watts to keep the pot warm. Turn off the coffee pot after it brews to conserve the storage capacity of the solar generator. Not trying to insult anyone just bringing this point up for those that haven't used solar generators before. Some coffee makers use an insulated carafe and don't have a power drawing heating plate under the pot. I just turn the coffee pot off after the pot is brewed. Really like this model Bluetti unit much more than some previous Bluetti models I have had. This is a big improvement over those earlier models and I'm sure Bluetti is listening to their customers feedback and continually improving their products based on that input. Do your research on what your power needs are and you won't be disappointed in your choice. ... show more
