Very happy with this purchase. Using my Bluetti at this moment to charge a GoSun Chillest portable fridge. It worked great really well while sitting in the back of an SUV. I checked on it and it kept cool, didn’t overheat and charged it for a couple of minutes hours before dropping down to 50% charge. Using the a/c adapter from the car to charge it back up. This will be a great power station to use for camping or if the power goes out. The solar panels work like a charm!

I got this panel to alleviate energy anxiety while car camping for several weeks. I had tried using a heavy duty battery backup unit and it's performance was terrible and I had to rely on my friend's solar panel system to keep everything charged. This model was the only company that would ship to Alaska, and they were having a sale, so it was an easy choice to make. The folding solar panel is fantastic. Easy to store. and includes a large, zippered pouch that I use to store all of the adapter cables. Though it was rated for 120 watts, I was able to get as high as 106W on the test that I did, and I am more than happy with that given the portable nature of the solar panel. The panel also has metal eye holes on the side so you can hang them from a rope attached to a tree, your car, etc. I used them for charging the battery in the morning and as a sun shade. My only complaint is that the folding legs are secured by velcro, and this velcro is very hard to separate. Once the folding leg touches the velcro again it's instantly secured. This is great for most things, just not for when I'm trying to unfold all the legs. Hold the panel gently at 45 degrees and that should make the four legs (one for each panel section) less obnoxious to pry apart. It took me a few times to figure out how to do this without smudging the panels with my fingerprints. This panel is so sensitive that those fingerprints will slightly decrease your efficiency. I was able to charge an iPhone 11 using the included magnetic wireless charger built into the battery unit and it performed flawlessly. I also like how I can toggle DC and AC power. In between charging the iPhone, an iPad, my friend's Android phone, a battery bank, and a drone battery, I was able to do it all just from the solar panel in the middle of the day with a clear sky, pulling 75 watts to charge but having 90 to 106 watts of input from the sun. Pretty incredible. Overcast days range from 10W to 40W depending on the angle of the sun and the thickness of the clouds. Still sufficient for keeping your smartphone and/or tablet charged. Gas generators tend to be cheaper and output more power in the short term, but I need the gas that I carry for emergencies and didn't want to deal with the noise or the smell. This solar option is quiet, truly portable, and I will be buying a second solar panel next summer for even faster charging. The panels can be daisy-chained as long as you stay under 300 watts (on this particular 500Wh battery system).

The description for the Bluetti AC50S and the SP120 combination said, at the time of my purchase, there is (Include 2Pcs 120W Foldable Solar Panel), this is an incorrect description, I believe they have changed the description to 1 pc. Do not let this stop you from buying this combination set. The single SP120 Solar panel is all that is needed to charge the AC50S. I contacted Max Oak, because I did not receive the SP120 #2 and wondered where it was. The Customer service is very gracious and explained the confusion very well. This is a great company to buy from, I have no doubt that if I need any Customer Support in the Future, they will be there for me. As far as a review of this Solar Generator, WOW! what an amazing device. I plugged my 20" LED TV, and amplified Speakers into the AC inverter while I was charging my cell phone and my Wifi Hotspot, all at the same time and the AC50S had LOTS of power to spare. I was using only 29watts AC and 8watts DC. I have not had the chance to use the Solar Panel, it has been raining since it was delivered yesterday, but it is very well made and I have no doubt it will perform as expected. The stitching on the fabric case is very nicely done, the materials used to construct this portable Solar Panel are all very excellent materials. I can see this will last for years. You will not be disappointed if you buy this. Do not expect this to power your Microwave Oven, or a Toaster, or Coffee pot, this unit is not designed for that level of power. Bluetti makes other Solar Generators of much higher wattage if you need that degree of functionality. But for devices under 300 watt consumption this AC50S it awesome. This is very light weight, very portable, the handles are strong but fold down flat and are completly out of the way, the color portion of this is a soft silicone rubbery like material that takes any sharp edges off of this unit, and it looks really nice. The plugs are all very strong made and when you plug something into the Bluetti, you can feel it is a very postitve connection. Plus the AC50S and SP120 come with a 2 year warranty. You can not ask for more. You will love this device combo.
