BEST Bluetooth speaker for the money, it outperforms every $60-100 speaker I've previously had. Sound quality is very clear, bass sounds good and is balanced, and the battery lasts just as long as you'd hope it would. Upon taking the speaker apart fully to paint it (and out of curiosity) I can verify that the battery is 4000mAh - Bugani is not claiming good battery life for nothing, the speaker seems to use that 4000mAh extremely efficiently! Side note - if you want to upgrade the battery, you could wire vape batteries in parallel and it *should* work perfectly! You'd just need to figure out a way to secure them inside of the box. (Please do not do this if you aren't familiar) The speakers, I can verify, are each 15 watts max at 4 ohms, so 30 watts max output seems to be accurate! They appear to be pretty cheaply made, but when in this speaker box (with the passive radiator on the back) they work impressively well, and sound excellent, especially for the price. The passive radiator ABSOLUTELY makes a difference in the bass. I'd categorize the bass as "balanced"; not excessive, but it certainly isn't lacking. I'd recommend using an equalizer to tune the sound to your taste, but the speakers+passive radiator are great. I wouldn't change a thing about this product, except maybe the color (obviously lol). Buy it. The reviews don't lie.

The average person is going to love this. It's easy to use, connects and holds a charge well, gets plenty loud without distorting, and offers clear, balanced sound in true stereo (not mono like some cheap bluetooth speakers) with high and low frequencies that are neither lacking nor over-emphasized. If you are looking for something small and lightweight enough to throw in a backpack with some other belongings, however, this is NOT the choice for you; it is bulky and has some weight. That's the payoff for better sound than the little guys. For those of us who make a habit of paying a little more attention to sound (dare I say "audiophiles") this should satisfy your expectations for a speaker under $40. In fact, I might even say it's the best bluetooth speaker I've heard in this price range. The only reason I say that with reservation is because it does one silly thing, which is that it seems to add dynamic compression to everything it plays at all volumes. It's not noticeable if you're listening to pre-1990s recordings which tended to be mastered with more headroom, but it definitely is noticeable on more modern recordings or louder remasters of old recordings. My advice to Bugani would be to lose the compression at lower volume levels and save it for the higher levels. Despite this annoyance, I didn't have the heart to knock a full star off since it really does deliver for a speaker under $40. Consider this a 4.5 star review.

Edit 7-3-21 For the price and size it's a great speaker in most situations. The constant beeping after 30% battery is annoying. Even when charging at low volume it still cuts out to beep and the battery life isn't too great at full volume. Overall still like this unit and customer service is amazing, but if these issues are a problem for you I would look to spend more money on their other models. Perhaps they rectify the issues I mentioned. I still think 3-4 stars is where this unit fluctuates. Definitely better than average, but not great. If it lasted a little longer and didn't beep it's a solid 4-4.5. Original review The manufacturer boasts big bass in this unit. It is good don't get me wrong, but it's not gonna thump the ground, it's all pretty balanced. I'm not huge on bass other than clean, but sometimes it's nice in certain genres. Obviously those would be rap/hip hop and EDM. Personally I think the soundstage on this things pretty good for it's price point. It has outperformed all my many units I've collected over the years, the only caveat is the battery. The life isn't awful by any means, but you're looking at closer to 5-6 hours especially if you're listening at it's max volume. The volume is pretty good, but again depending on your needs it may be lacking for certain areas. Overall I enjoy this speaker and customer service is amazing from this company. I had a unit that was dying out pretty quickly and they sent a replacement very quickly. Is it the best on the market? Probably not, but it's great for what you're spending and I'd implore you to find a better unit for under $50. Highly doubt it exists.

The Bugani M90 is a fantastic portable Bluetooth speaker. My favorite feature is the remarkable, rich sound quality. Streaming from my phone was as satisfying as it was easy - a quick pair results in deep, compelling sound, the battery life is also pretty strong compared to other speakers I had in the past. I bought this speaker specially to connect it to my outdoor projector, the outdoor sound quality is very good, with clear vocals and good bass. For the money it is a good value. It is easy to use, it feels solid, and looks good. I connected it with my phone instantly. It came with charge straight out of the box and was ready to go which is a good thing. The Bluetooth connection is stable and reliable - so much so I found myself wandering way off with my phone still in my pocket and without breaking the connection.

I'm doing a comparison review between this Bugani and my Aukey that I've had for several years. I was super impressed with the sound quality of the Aukey when I got it. It's been to work with me and got me through many days that would have otherwise been mind numbingly boring. But I moved to an island a few year ago and I really wanted something that would sound a little punchier at the beach. This Bugani had good reviews and the price is reasonable. So I decided to go for it. My first impression was a little disappointing. I was hoping that out of the box it would have enough bass to pound my chest from 20'. But realistically, that isn't even scientifically possible from such a small box. I could have bought one of those fancy speakers they sell at Wally world that has wheels and a handle. But the beach cannot be complicated. Too much stuff to haul to the beach = work. And the beach ain't about work. Does that mean this little box isn't worth it? Not at all! Especially when I listen to them side by side. My once beloved Aukey sounds like a child's toy. While on the other hand the Bugani does have some nice punch to the bass. It won't pound your chest from 20', but it does sound great. It also has one of the clearest sounding speakers I've heard in a portable unit. The first time I heard an acoustic guitar song on the speaker, it sounded as if the guitar was in the room with me. So now I have a new favorite speaker. This isn't the same as a home stereo or even an 11" karaoke speaker. But it does sound great and it only weighs a pound or two. The build seems nice a rugged too. But I'll be doing my best not to get sand in it or even water. Its hard to understand the size of the speakers from their ad photos. So I put some eyeglasses in one of my photos and another with it in my hand. It's definetly bigger than my Aukey, but not heavy and sounds way better. Overall I'm happy.

About four years ago I read about this portable speaker that got glowing reviews called an Anker Soundcore Flare for my husband to use when opening stores for a franchise he works at. The glowing lights were fun but the sound was pretty disappointing in terms of volume and dynamics. One day our flare had a dead battery and his coworker offered her speaker for us to use, the M90, and it blew my mind. I immediately took down the brand and told myself I’d get ahold of one for us as soon as possible! A little about myself and our situation: my husband and I primarily listen to progressive rock and, if you’re not familiar with the genre, just know that there’s a lot going on to listen to. Prog has some pretty involved music with all sorts of instruments and time signatures that are way better when heard properly. I wouldn’t say that we’re extremely picky about sound but as we get older, that’s slowly becoming the case more and more. lol. We have two sets of Edifer speakers in our one bedroom apartment and that has everything to do with us listening to music and having a better listening experience. The M90 is the type of speaker that can be heard despite multiple machines running throughout a business in a situation where you aren’t sitting in one place. The bass likely distorts other dynamics when it’s turned up all the way, but I’d rather have the capability to turn up a bass than feel like I wish I did. The adjustments mainly come from our phones rather than the speaker itself which I’m perfectly fine with. I think that having opportunities with both my phone and the speaker often gives me opportunity to overlap settings and often distort sounds I’m hoping to hear. My husband didn’t know much about this speaker but while I was in the bathroom at his work, I heard one of our favorite songs playing… so connection via Bluetooth was simple enough to not require much time, effort, or knowledge beyond basic Bluetooth pairing. We only just got it within the last 48 hours so I have no idea how long the battery will typically last but I have a feeling it won’t be an issue. I can update my review if that changes. The packaging and build of the speaker speaks high quality despite the price tag. Even if it randomly dies in a year, I’ll consider it a $40 well spent.

I bought one of these last year, then just bought another one to pair for stereo sound. I use these primarily for playing “brown noise” tracks for sleeping. They work great for this purpose, as they produce a good amount of bass and mid tones for such compact size. Aside from that niche use, music sounds incredible through these speakers, with the same surprising range of frequencies. I keep them plugged in since I use them for sleeping, but the battery life seems it should last a day or so of full use. Highly recommend, especially two units paired for stereo sound.
