So I charged them up for the recommended 4 hours, although the charging light went out in less than 15 minutes. Batteries lasted about 20 minutes, failing part way through the hearing test. Put them back in the charging case overnight (although again the charging light went out quickly). In the morning they were working but would not connect to the app. Tried reinstalling the app and repeating initial setup. Useless. And speaking of the app, I've tried several of these low-end hearing aids with app control. The others, while not super user-friendly, have been ok. This one, I classify as user-hostile. Other apps have a slider or dial for volume control but this one just has up & down buttons. No indication of where it's actually set. Likewise for mode control -- one button, count the beeps to know what you've just chosen. ... show more

I found the noise canceling was too annoying, especially if the Bluetooth is connected. It is also vulnerable to electrical interference. After all for the price point it ranks best of three that I have tried.

Lots of controls that I'm getting used to. Many settings. Off to a good start after spending a few hours wearing after delivery on day 1. On day 2 I had to change dome sizes. neeeded a tighter fit, felt loose with small domes that were nitially installed. Now i'm experimenting with sound/volume settings. No problems at all with squealing, white noise, or sound, etc. Sound clarity is excellent. Seeing which settings work best for me. Lots of volume and mode settings to see what works best. Glad I had experience with using a phone adjustment app on my two previous sets of OTE hearing aids. It'll orobably take a week or so to get settings and volumes worked out, but they are working well right out of the box. havent tried audio or music streaming as yet. ... show more

Conceptually, these hearing aids just might be the perfect answer for older people like me. I am 81 years old and my hearing was damaged by high db noise when I was 23 years old. Since then, I've not been able to hear above 7700 Hertz. A lot of sounds that are high pitched and soft are not heard by me. "Just ask my wife what that means." At 81, it's getting worse. Over the years, I've had many very expensive hearing aids. If these new aids had reliable software, good written support, and better packaging, I would not have needed to get 3 shipments before I got what I ordered. JUST TO BE FAIR, The ones I have now do a great job. With better support and improved packaging/labeling, they might be the greatest thing since sliced bread for thousands of Seniors. ... show more

These hearing aids worked well but none of the fittings fit my ear canal well enough to keep them from falling out at the most inconvenient times. They seem to be a little large for in the ear type aids. I had to return and buy some of the behind the ear type so that I will not lose them.
