I have some bad anxiety over losing expensive things (aka being broke lol) so when I go out places or travel, I tend to not bring my airpod pros from the constant worry they cause me. Because of this, I am always on the hunt for solid quality earbuds that won't cost half a month of rent to replace if lost. While searching through holiday deals and organizing by average customer reviews, I was excited to see a legit looking pair 80% off from $90 to $22 and 4.8 star average rating. $90 buds with a 4.8 star score? Surely they must be some impressive nuggets and with a discount putting them in the price range of wired JBL buds from a Walmart checkout line, how could I not jump on the deal of the year?? Well lets start with the good. Aesthetically they do hit the mark pretty well. The black semi-transparency on the plastic speaker housing with the gold electrical tips for charging is a tried and true classy color combo and the portable charging case exceeded expectations. The case looks and feels great, has a neat (albeit redundant) LCD screen on the front showing how much charge is left, and most notably, a form-factor almost rivaling flagship buds from the big boys like Apple or Samsung. Having purchased many a pair of $25-$50 backup buds, I have become accustom to the "portable" charging cases not quite fitting inside a pocket comfortably. Not this time though; they really nail the design on these puppies and I admit they do LOOK like they could retail at $90. Furthermore, there were plenty of aspects that were... for lack of better term, average. Not in a bad way mind you, just at the quality level you would expect from buds retailing almost in the "premium" price range. But lets cut the formalities and talk turkey. The sound. People are raving about how great the bass is and I cannot deny that they do pack a serious bass punch. However, using them for anything that is mid/treble focused leaves them feeling... hollow. Something about them just feels like they spent the wholle budget on design and low frequency drivers. I honestly dont have much else to say apart from that I am returning these as we speak. Having spent so long trolling the obscure earbud marketplace on Amazon, I have noticed a trend with buds like these. Any time there is a great pair of buds thats on CRAZY sale, regardless if its for black friday, christmas, whatever, their ratings get boosted to the moon because they are decent buds for the price. Exactly the scenario here. For $22 you could definitely do worse, however, it seems somewhat immoral to claim these retail at $90. Im sure legally they have fulfilled the requirements to claim that as the retail price, but in no market would this company survive if they were selling tech of this quality at that original price consistently. I have a feeling no matter when you check out this webpage, these earbuds will be on some sort of sale because at the end of the day, I'd rate them as decent $40 buds, and thats probably what they should be retailing for. All in all, even if I dont agree with the discount level and claimed "retail" price, you are still getting a decent mid-tier pair of nuggets that look sleek as hell for 20 bucks. Whats there to lose? I'm returning mine but I have no hard feelings which is why I am still awarding them 4 stars. If you made it this far in the review, thanks for putting up with my ramblings and I hope the advice helps. I would still recommend grabbing them at the current price if you're just getting into wireless earbuds and have yet to be spoiled by Sony, Bose, Apple, or any of the other big dogs' flagship earbuds. Last piece of advice: Its the holidays and there are some legit great deals on great buds and headphones. Dont fall for the big juicy 80% discount tag right away and take your time looking at the options. There are a good number of well-known brands dropping their $100-$200 audio gear to the sub-$80 and even sub-$50 regimes for a short while. In my opinion, if you have the money but just want the best possible deal, ignore these CrAzY discount items and shell out the 20-30 extra bucks for a battle tested brand's premium buds. Time and time again it has proved worth it to me.

For the price these rule. lil extra on the mids but in a good way. The bass level is perfect imo. They don't blow it out it's a more clean punchy bass. Sub bass is def adequate but its not that "extra bass" kind of sound. Initially the treble wasnt as pronounced as much as I like but I pulled out the lil grill between the drivers themselves and the rubber tips which totally resolved that. As far as battery life I get a good 5+ hours from em. Love these things
