  • Long Battery Life; Comfortable to wear Long Battery Life; Comfortable to wear
Color: Black
I use these headphones for about an hour or two each day to listen to podcasts while i'm doing various household chores, like preparing meals. For this purpose, i find them ideal, with an incredibly long battery life. I only need to charge them about once every three or four weeks, and have yet to go below about 30% charge. No noticeable lag on the BlueTooth. When i hit pause, it pauses; when i hit play, it plays. It's a bit annoying that a long press (on the volume control buttons) are required to fast forward or backward on podcasts. I would rather that the functionality of these buttons were reversed (i.e. a long press would be required for volume adjustment). An option to toggle would be nice. The layout is such that one can fairly easily operate them by touch alone, but i do on occasion find myself mistaking the power button for either the pause button or the ANC mode button. The pause button does have two nubs on it, whereas the power button is flat, so that mistake is mine. Switching between the various noise cancelling modes invokes an audio mode announcement which cuts out the audio feed for a few seconds, so pausing (or skipping backward a few seconds) is necessary to not miss content on Podcasts or conversation on phone calls. When powered on, noise cancellation defaults to off, and that seems to be a good choice. It also saves power. Noise cancellation works pretty well. It has a reverse mode (transparency) where it actually brings in (amplifies) outside sounds, so you can be more aware of your surroundings. It takes a bit of getting accustomed to the audio in transparency mode, as it seems a bit weird at times. Nonetheless it is useful, and could be especially handy if you're taking care of children. The headset is VERY comfortable, in part because the cups surround the ears, rather than sit on them, and has just the right amount of grip. The headband is adjustable. The ear pieces do rotate 90°, so can lie flat on a table. They can also fold inward, to be more compact for travel. It performs well on phone calls. The other party can always hear me clearly, so the microphone seems to work well. That seems a bit like magic to me, since the microphone doesn't have a boom arm. Cons: I haven't been able to find a PDF version of the manual, and have misplaced the printed manual which came with mine. As a result, i'm not sure how to operate all the controls as well as i should. I'm tempted to knock a star off for this, as this product depends on good instructions to get the most out of it, and PDFs cost the company nothing. Most of the problems i have with these headphones are BlueTooth related. In some cases i'm not sure whether to blame the manufacturer for poor user interface choices, or the BlueTooth specification itself (meaning there's nothing the manufacturer could have done). Nonetheless, what follows are my annoyances in using these headphones. The headphones pair easily, but may only be paired with two devices at any given time. Once paired, my devices tenaciously remember it. So if i want to pair a third device, i need to tell one of the two already paired to forget the device. I think there's a way to unpair with all devices on the headphones themselves, but not having the manual to refer to, i'm not sure how to do that. Maybe multiple presses on the power button? Truth be told, i'm not sure i'd want to have more than two devices paired with these headphones because of the following problem (which is the fault of the design of these headphones): Whenever these headphones leave the range of a paired device, a "disconnected" announcement is made over the headphones. And when one comes back into range, a "connected" announcement is made. That would be useful information if the disconnected device were the active device you're currently listening to, but completely unnecessary for a secondary (i.e. currently quiet) device, as those announcements makes it difficult to listen to content such a podcast or audiobook. If i'm not currently listening to a device, i really don't care to know whether or not i'm within the range of it. And if i'm listening to a device which i'm well within range of, but at the periphery of the range of the second (quiet) device, i can end up hearing "disconnected" and "connected" quite often, obscuring what i'm actively trying to hear (from my primary device). This is extremely annoying and, in my view, completely unnecessary. There doesn't seem to be any way to turn off these notifications, and they can become quite aggravating. The only solutions i know are to turn off BlueTooth on the other device, or unpair it from the headphones. Both of those solutions have their own problems and annoyances, and wouldn't be necessary if the headphones didn't have this "feature" in the first place. It's a bad user interface choice by the manufacturer. A similar problem, which might not be the fault of these headphones, is that if i have paused playback – usually for an extended period of time – and later hit resume again, i don't always get back to the source i paused. Sometimes the other paired device will start playing whatever it wants to play. It may be that whichever device has the strongest signal is the one which decides to play. So pausing the playback, and physically going to the device i want to resume listening to and hitting play on its screen, may be required. After doing that, pause and resume work as expected, unless (once again) i have it paused for a long period of time. I've never measured the time it takes for this to happen, but it must be somewhere between 5-15 minutes (maybe longer). One can eliminate these problems by only pairing with a single device, so your mileage may vary. Thus i didn't deduct a star, as i would normally be inclined to do. Nor would it be fair because these headphones have more range than i would have expected from a BlueTooth device, the battery life is surprisingly good, they are very comfortable, and have generally good audio quality. While the audio quality is generally good for podcasts and spoken audio, and the crappy "music" a lot of people listen to these days, these won't be your first choice for a violin concerto, Baroque, Renaissance, nor Chamber music. High frequencies are adequate, but not stellar. Nonetheless, they aren't terrible for such music. February 2026 Update: Still loving these headphones. I've used them daily for over 18 months now (mostly for spoken word/audio). I paid $40 for them in August, 2024; at their current $24ish price range they are a steal. Even with their faults, i would buy them again, especially at their current price point. In fact, maybe i will, and pair one set with one device, and the other with the second device (thus sidestepping the afore mentioned problems). ... show more

  • Unbelievably high quality for an economical price
Color: Black
I've had these headphones for just over two weeks now and feel I can write a fair review. My first impression, taking them out of the box, was a VERY solid feel. And those earpads!!! So soft and supple. An insert card inside one earpad told me they are replaceable and provided a warranty code. After charging a couple of hours I hooked them up. To me, sound is like art - I don't claim to be an virtuoso audiophile, but i do know what I like. And I think these headphones are phenomenal: The fit is wonderful. They are extremely comfortable. Noise cancellation is great. Sound response is very good according to MY ears (as opposed to some sophisticated testing). Pairing with Bluetooth is a breeze; I've only paired with my laptop, but the instructions indicate you can have them paired to a second device. I typically run my laptop's audio through a FocusRite Scarlett 2i2 USB. When I turn the headphones on, the audio automatically switches to the headphones, muting the FocusRite; When I turn the headphones off, the audio reverts back to the FocusRite. The controls on the headphone are simple and well-placed. I haven't used these on a phone call, but I did connect to the Skype audio testing number. The sound quality is excellent and the microphone worked extremely well. And the price!!!! Wow. In case you couldn't tell, I feel this was an excellent purchase decision. The only thing I've found lacking is the red light that indicates the headphones are powering down is very dim. Not exactly a deal-breaker. If I could rate these 10 stars on a 1 to 5 scale, I would. ... show more

  • Travel for work
Color: Black
As someone who travels extensively for work, having reliable and comfortable headphones is essential for me. I must say, your headphones have exceeded my expectations in every way. The ear cuffs fit snugly over my ears, providing excellent noise cancellation, which is perfect for the two-hour or longer flights I often find myself on. What initially caught my attention was the price point of your headphones, but after using them extensively, I can confidently say that they are worth every penny and more. The sound quality is exceptional, allowing me to enjoy my music, podcasts, or audiobooks without any distortion, even in noisy environments like airports or airplanes. Additionally, the Bluetooth connectivity has been flawless, making it convenient for me to pair the headphones with my devices quickly and easily. The battery life is impressive, ensuring that my headphones last throughout my entire journey without needing frequent recharging. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Your headphones have become an indispensable travel companion for me, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of high-quality, affordable wireless headphones. Thank you for providing such an excellent product. Keep up the fantastic work! ... show more

  • Great All-Purpose Headphones
Color: Black
I owned a pair of Apple Airbuds that stopped working in one side. I thought about replacing them, but my ears are not particularly suited to the Airbuds fitting comfortably. Instead, I decided to try some over-the-ear headphones, which would also be a nod to my former days as a disc jockey on radio stations in New York and Ohio. I settled on the BH100 Noise Cancelling Headphones that I found on Amazon. Right out of the box, I could feel that these would be a good value. They were heavy enough to denote quality materials had been used, but light enough to wear comfortably for an extended period. The controls are located in sensible locations and are easy to navigate. Pairing was a breeze, and the sound quality is more than I hoped for in this price range. The noise cancelling feature does a good job of isolating background distractions and eliminating the sounds from my music. I had the chance to test Tham out on a cross-country flight from California to NY, and back again a week later, and they performed exceptionally well. Battery life was never an issue, and there folded easily back into the storage back for stowing in my backpack. I can highly recommend these headphones for everyday users, travelers, pod casters and budget-conscious audiophiles. They are a great product at a fair price. ... show more

  • High quality and packed with features for the price point offered
Color: Black
This review is based off the performance at the price point offered. It provides a lot of value. First of all. The sound is excellent. The bass is deep and not muddled. The sound for music is balanced. I would recommend using an app to adjust the equalizer to get even better sound performance that suits you. I use these headphones to listen to the TV as well. You get the ambient sounds when watching sports and the surround sound watching movies. The blue tooth range is also great. I can walk everywhere in my 980 sq foot apartment including closets and the bathroom. The sound is still crystal clear with no static. When using it for phone calls, it also works great. I can talk normal without speaking loud for the other person to hear me. Another useful feature is the transparency mode where I can hear my surroundings as well as a feature that blocks out environment sounds. The comfort from the foam pads are phenomenal. I can wear it for long periods without discomfort. I like how the buttons are prominent where you can feel them and tell which button does what. Lastly, the battery is extremely long lasting. The only con is that I wished the voice prompt tells you the battery level and it auto shuts off in case you forget to turn off. These are minor complaints. These headphones deliver extreme value for the price point. ... show more

  • Light weight, user friendly
Color: Black
Very user friendly. Easy to figure out without instructions. I can not tell the difference between ANC On and Transparency but that isn't a big deal for me. Really awesome how well they cancel out noise despite the lower price point. I personally love that bass is always boosted, but some may wish to have the option to adjust that. Very comfortable so far, light weight, soft, and perfect for traveling. I can not say how long the battery lasts yet. No where in the instruction manual does it mention the battery life. I am interested to see if the life that is listed on the Amazon page is accurate. Will update. ... show more

  • Good electronics but bad ergonomics.
Color: Matte Black
Pros: Very good sound quality. Very good noise cancellation. Cons: Apparently designed for ideal fit on pre-adolescent children. Inadequate adjustment size for head band. Inadequate ear cup size. Poorly located control buttons that are also too small for average sized adult fingers. Very uncomfortable to wear for more than short periods of time. Difficult to use multifunction buttons. Much shorter battery life than claimed in product description. ... show more
