These headphones are great. Very easy to pair via Bluetooth with my cell phone. I paired them, slipped them into the ear pockets of my Smith Variant ski helmet, zipped up that liner pocket, and I'm ready to go. Although I can easily turn them on and off, pause the music, and answer and end phone calls by pressing the power button on the right earphone, the volume up and volume down buttons on the left earphone are difficult to locate and feel through the foam of my helmet ear flaps. It can be done, but is difficult to know exactly where to press on the outside of the earphone. It's pretty much impossible with gloves on. Of course you can also control the volume directly on your cell phone. You power them on or off by pressing and holding down the button on the right side earphone for 3 seconds. To pause music or answer and end phone calls is just one quick click on the same button. That button is easy to feel since it is the only button on the right earphone and is almost the entire diameter of that earphone. The left earphone has the up and down volume buttons and those two buttons are half the size and you never know which one you are pressing through the foam of your earflaps. I tested receiving a phone call with them on. The music mutes and you answer the call with a single press of the right side earphone button. You end the call with another press of that same big button. Call quality was clear and the other person on the line could hear me. I'm not sure where the microphone is located on these things, but it is sensitive enough and works. It would be great if you could control volume and answer and end phone calls using your voice. However these headphones do not appear to have that capability. The short manual mentions activating Voice Assistant, but that just brings up an option on my phone to connect to Alexa or Google, so not what I'm looking for. I have an Android cell phone. I don't think voice control of volume or phone answering is possible with these headphones. The sound quality is decent but not as good as in-the-ear headphones, which is to be expected. I'm giving these 4 stars because I take one star off for lack of voice control and it's hard to adjust the volume on these phones once installed in a helmet ear flap.

I recently purchased a new ski helmet with the ear covers that are audio friendly. Before I found these I purchased some fully wireless headphones. While I appreciate how versatile they are being individual speakers, such as picking just left or right, they're quite a bit bigger and they don't get very loud. These helmet headphones on the other hand are very small and fit easily into the helmet and they get very very loud...like hurting my ears loud when all the way up. Another downside of the fully wireless is they have a charging case that is much bigger than the case that comes with these. You won't be comfortable with it in your pocket. With these Bluetooth helmet headphones The case has room for the charging cable and the speakers. While the fully wireless ones I'd previously purchased only had room for speakers. As far as battery life these report to have 20 hours at 50% whereas the other headphones I have are only 13 hours so I'll have to recharge more often. Either is plenty as my body has no chance to ski that long without rest so I can recharge them while I sleep. The main benefit of the fully rechargeable is that they don't have a wire that goes behind your head. I haven't found this wire to be annoying but it is there and something you have to be aware of when taking the helmet on and off. The wire can also get twisted which you will feel on the back of your head, so take time to make sure it's laid flat. As for the controls functionality, the right speaker has the multifunction button and I find it to be usable. However the left earphone has the volume controls. There are separate buttons for each and I find them to be extremely difficult to press while in the helmet, and not easy outside for that matter. Not to mention there's no way of knowing which one is which. Two multi function buttons would fix this. Especially considering I wear gloves skiing, losing even more dexterity in my fingers. Overall I think these are quality helmet headphones and will suit anyone who has a helmet compatible with them.

I got these for my 11 y/o daughter, who is obsessed with listening to her music, and she loves skiing. I won't let her wear earbuds, and she doesn't even want to either, because it's just not safe to block out all noise around you. These have been literally perfect for wearing under her ski helmet!! Sadly, it's too difficult to access the buttons on them through the fabric of the ear covers of her helmet. I wish they had some type of gel layer around the edges so they would stay in there a little easier, but it really only took her about 20 minutes to get the hang of how to get them in there and get the helmet on. The sound quality is great, while still allowing her to hear ambient sound. The hard case is awesome for keeping them safe! The fact that they are Type-C rechargeable is very convenient! The bluetooth worked seamlessly without a single connection issue, and they were very fast and easy to pair to her phone. She downloaded songs on her premium Spotify account, so she didn't even need to rely on the icky wifi in the slopes! Overall, both my daughter and I are both seriously impressed with these headphones, and both of us are SO happy to have them in her life! For anyone that agrees that music is life, and loves skiing, this is a seriously great pair of headphones! Also, I think it would work great for wearing under a bicycle helmet while riding around cars and traffic, it would definitely be a lot safer than earbuds IMO! Both my daughter and I HIGHLY Recommend these headphones!! I think they are a great price at the full current price of $65, but they are $20 off, making them a serious steal for just about $45!! That is an incredible value IMO!!
