  • Cool!
Small, powerful, neat looking. Not a full on concert, duh, but it fills a room with great sound.

  • The Most Powerful Stereo Amplifier in Its Class.
Here are the "good" and "bad" on this product. . . ADVANTAGES . 1. PRICE: A 100 watts RMS per channel stereo amplifier for $38.06 is unbelievable. It also outputs the highest short term firepower among similar products - 600 watts total peak power. . As an added bonus, it incorporates a FM radio. This makes the device an audio receiver. . 2. SOUND: The audio is very clear. There are no "pops" or "static" as reported by one Amazon user. Second, the stereo separation is excellent. Playing Simon and Garfunkle's THE SOUND OF SILENCE, each artist is isolated to a separate speaker with the different accompanying musical instruments. Third, it is able to fill a large living room with adequate loudness at the 1/4 volume setting. Four, the treble and bass controls are very effective. Each produces a significant change in the music when dialed to the extreme setting. . 3. FEATURES: The unit is very compact. The shell is heavy sheet metal and painted black. A LED information panel provides the operating data. This information is accompanied by a female voice module that verbally announces a change in the setting. The Chinese accent is irritating. Fortunately it is not as bad as the Southern Twang as found in the U.S. Deep South: East Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, and Alabama. . . DISADVANTAGES . 1. The power cord is too short. . 2. There is a slight audio hum beyond the 2/3 setting on the loudness dial. . 3. There is only one audio input - AUX. . 4. "Play" is misspelled on the mode button - "Paly." . 5. The Chinese manufacturer is ANYTEK. Although unknown in the U.S., it is very popular in China and Russia for its cheap car camcorders. Quality reports on the company's products are mixed. . The amp is the top in its class - it is the most powerful stereo amplifier. There are four recommended additions and changes that will make it a "killer product." First, one input - AUX - is not enough. There must be three or four. Second, incorporate a seven or nine band equalizer into the device. Third, eliminate the hum distortion beyond the 2/3 setting on the volume control. Four, replace the irritating Chinese female voice module with an American or just eliminate this feature. ... show more

  • sounds very good
My unit has the button marked "PLAY" spelled correctly. It's very quiet for the power. The FM is a little hard to get used to as you have to SCAN to tune a station, so not like a regular reciever tuning knob.

  • Unusable.
By all rights this should have been an excellent product. The price point was low, the sound quality good, and it didn't take up a lot of space in the entertainment center. However, there is one fundamental flaw which made this product unusable. The amplifier has voice notifications that activate everytime the system powers on/off, pairs to bluetooth or changes inputs. These voice notifications cannot be disabled, are in broken English, and occur at a volume that is easily double of whatever you're listening to. For example if you have the stereo turned up loud enough to here your music then switch inputs the announcement will be loud enough to make your ears bleed. I tried everything to circumvent this problem, but unfortunately had to return the product. Everytime I turned the product on/off or paired to a device, if I didn't first turn the volume all the way down I would be subjected to the voice to the abject discomfort of myself, my neighbours and our dogs. WOULD NOT BUY. ... show more

  • Amazing Amp and Receiver
I originally ordered and tried two of this guy's little brother, the 200 watt version with no microphone inputs, and was quite impressed with both units (2nd one had a short I was able to fix on the bench, but I think that had to do with a bad input source or speaker cable). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086BMG1TH My friend is using one in his garage for the FM radio and USB input, and is happy. I actually used my unit to recently DJ a small party. I loved that I could switch to a premixed set on USB for the dinner hour and enjoy myself without worrying about minding the decks. Anyway, I digress... ordered this 300-watt "upgraded" unit a few weeks ago, only to be let down, as the unit was DOA. Did not reach out to the seller or Amazon, but stripped the unit for parts, and proceeded to order a second. This one did not disappoint, and now I have a backup amp for my 200 watt model. I love these things for how much punch they can pack into a small enclosure through their DSP. Though I am out the nearly $40 for the dead unit, I am willing to eat it. I am impressed with the range of bass and treble response. The unit gets mildly warm after an hour of use, but not annoyingly hot. I ran a small fan over my other 200-watt unit, and I can always do the same with this one if necessary. Still less bulky than the 200-300 watt amps I used to haul around. For the record, both models had sub-par Bluetooth performance, and both skipped on some tracks loaded on USB, but it may be the media or encoding of the tracks that's tripping up the system. I will never lug around heavy amps again. ... show more
