This Macbook Air case provides excellent quality drop protection and a super thin profile, along with exceptional aesthetics, fit, and an affordable price. This is truly the best case for Macintosh that I have come across. I had an earlier iteration of the Blue Swan anti-cracking case that lasted over a year, which is an eternity for a plastic Macbook case. This is the upgraded sturdier version of that case, and it is really quite nice. Its already protected my case from several severe drops. (!) Unfortunately I cannot recommend this case for one glaring reason: it prevents the laptop from actually closing, leaving a dangerous gap between the screen and the chassis when it’s “shut.” Put the computer in your bag like that, and you could easily wind up with a broken screen. I hate to give this product such a low review, because overall it felt like it was built well, designed with protection and portability in mind, and offered at a reasonable price. But the gap between the screen and the chassis is an absolute deal-breaker. I don’t know if I simply got a defective unit, or whether it’s a design flaw, but when I realized the gap I discarded the case and bought another brand that fits better. ... show more

Looks nice fits well. Can crack easily if it is bent too much. Works well to protect MacBook. Easy to install but can crack slightly if you take it off often. Good about of thickness to protect against use.
