The vest is easy to don and adjust and clear directions. Have not had the vest in water so actual functionality is unknown. Comfortable for the time I had it on boating in cool November day with no issues. Not sure how comfort will be in heat of summer but will eventually find out

I'm a full figure guy and this adjuster's Great. Light and don't have any issues with the neck as noted by others. I run early in the morning and fish by myself most of the time. I got it to wear while running and is very comfortable. The ring is a bit high to connect the kill switch cord to...so just use my belt loop. Highly suggest. As I am a big guy , I am impressed with the fit, comfort, and ease of taking off and putting back on. A lot of these type vest I have tried, bunch up or twist when putting on. So far no issues with the life vest.

The life vest looks and feels very sturdy and well made. I bought this for my husband, and after much searching was very happy to find an automatic inflatable life vest that is US Coast Guard approved and as a type II life vest (able to make sure most people float face up, as compared to a type III that ensures some people will be kept in the face up position if unconcious). Since my husband often goes out by himself, it was important to me to find something that will keep him safe without hindering his movements (so he will actually keep it on). He has said it rubs a little on the one side of his neck, but I wonder if the fit needs adjusted or just broken in a little bit. The material is heavy duty and a little stiff. ... show more
