    • Great mic, great sound quality, crappy USB port
I love this for ASMR, and used it for a while as a streaming mic. But from the beginning the USB port was a bit loose and it started crackling and whining in the middle of ASMR. This seems to be a recurring problem, the USB Mini port on bottom doesn't grip, and lots of people online and on help forums have written about it. Mine is outside warentee, and I think I'll try the self help approach of taking it apart and reshaping the reception port with pliers. I DON'T recommend you do that unless you are willing to accept the consequences, but I love this mic so much I want to give it a second chance at life. The Logitech Suite of software with effects and EQ is fantastic also. I loved having multiple settings, one for streaming one for ASMR that I could swap with a click or two. Not much else to say about it, very flexible application. TL;DR The mic is great for ASMR and Streaming/Recording but the USB Mini port loosens up fast and makes the mic crackle and whine after a bit. ... show more

    • It's a decent mic.
It's a bit more complicated to use than I thought it would be, it has a "sound card" built in so that takes a bit of configuration. Once you get used to it it's a decent mic. I had to choose an audio profile which works and I chose one with very little gain, I find the sound distorts very easily with the gain turned up at all. I guess it's intended to be used a little further from the person speaking. I have several other mics and this isn't the one that produces the best sound, it's cardioid rather than dynamic so it picks up a lot of other sound. I have it on a tripod with a shock mount but I find it's still quite sensetive to bumping the table it's on. If the gain is turned up at all then it rings a bit, and produces a bass tone, like when somebody bumps a table holding a mic that only has a solid stand. ... show more

I bought this microphone on September 16 and today, January 19, I got the USB to connect the microphone. I have used this microphone very little since I only play on weekends and the truth is that spending money on something that breaks in less than 5 months is not very good.
