  • The best soft food
Flavor Name: Variety Pack: Chicken, Salmon, Duck Size: 2.25 Pound (Pack of 1)
Our cat loves this but recently there have been cans that she refuses to eat. There were 2 in this box and another in the last. They aren’t a specific flavor, rather smell made her sniff and run away. I don’t know if they are sitting in the Amazon warehouse too long, but something is happing.

  • My 9 year old cat LOVES this stuff!
Flavor Name: Variety Pack: Chicken, Salmon, Duck Size: 2.25 Pound (Pack of 1)
I have had him on the Wilderness Salmon (dry) formula for as long as I’ve had him, occasionally switching it with the duck when it was on sale. He is the perfect picture of health: good dense fur, excellent body condition, bright eyes, nice firm stools with minimal odor. However, since he is a senior, I wanted to start giving him some wet food. (I would normally give him a mouse-sized bit of raw venison daily as a supplement, but I am out.) I bought this and one of Blue Buffalo’s other lines, the Tastefuls pâté. He gobbles this up, and won’t touch the other (which gave him gas and indigestion). If he continues to do well on this food, I will keep him on it. He is free fed on the dry food, and gets 1-2 cans of the wet a day. We are still trying to work out how much to give, I think a half can in the morning and a half can at night is sufficient, and if he’s hungry he still has the dry food to nibble on. I do wish it was cheaper, though. ... show more

  • good quality,.
Flavor Name: Variety Pack: Chicken, Salmon, Duck Size: 2.25 Pound (Pack of 1)
Seems better than last year. there was a moment when some of the food just did not appeal and did not look good. That seems to have changed for the best. ( I have not personally tasted it, but it smells 'good') my cat is staying in good health, her hair is shiny and she loves it, except for the salmon ... a little picky she is a meat eating cat... ... show more

  • My cats love it
Flavor Name: Variety Pack: Chicken, Salmon, Duck Size: 2.25 Pound (Pack of 1)
My cats were eating Sheba before I switched to this and now they eat this exclusively for breakfast. I give my cats each half a can for breakfast based on the nutritional info. They really like the duck flavor. It’s nice that the aluminum is recyclable so I don’t feel as bad as I did when I was giving them the food from the plastic containers. I use a fork to get this open. Good quality and I feel like it’s a healthy choice for my cats who are 5&6. My vet recommends wet food for liver health so I am happy to be able to give this to them. ... show more

  • Great Options for our diabetic cat.
Flavor Name: Duck Size: 3 Ounce (Pack of 24)
We just found out that our cat has diabetes and we needed to find a wet food low in sugars and carbohydrates. The vet told us that this food is a good cost effective option. Cats can be cantankerous when you change their food but we are optimistic that this will be a good change for his health.

  • My cats weren't impressed
Flavor Name: Variety Pack: Chicken, Salmon, Duck Size: 2.25 Pound (Pack of 1)
My cats are picky eaters. They didn't like the duck at all. Only one liked the chicken. They definitely didn't like how sticky the pate is.

  • Ferret happiness
Flavor Name: Turkey Size: 5.5 Ounce (Pack of 24)
I buy these and blend them up with water and a pid of organic pure pumpkin purée for my ferrets (my vet suggested). It helps them gain weight and have more protein on too of their hard food. They love it as a treat.

  • Rancid
Flavor Name: Salmon Size: 5.5 Ounce (Pack of 24)
I used to give my cat nutromax, but it was discontinued. She is not a very picky eater when it comes to wet food, because I use it more as a treat. She loves fish and wild game, can't get her away when i open any cans of anything. But this food... I am not sure what is going on with such a well respected name. The food is rancid, looks like it spoiled brown, shrunken in the can with oily, nasty smelling runnoff in the bottom. She was so excited to get her treat, but when I put it down for her, she immediately cringed, squinted her eyes and nose and backed away like it was poison. To me, it just didn't smell or look right, but maybe it was a bad can... I tried to give her bits over the next few days and same reaction. I opened another can that was the exact same rancid smell and look. This time I left it in her dish. Not a speck touched and she was so repelled she would want to get a drink from her water dish near it and would stop and back away and meow looking at me because she was afraid of the smell of the food in the area. Cats are smart and some are picky eaters, but sometimes they smell toxic things in ways we can't with instinct. Her body language said it all. Normally if she is given something she doesn't like, she just steps over it. But whatever is going on with this very expensive food, it repels her from being anywhere near it. The pictures posted by other reviewers saying the same are accurate. The meat looks shrunken, brown surrounded with air and oily discharge looking stuff on the bottom. It's not gravy, it's disgusting. ... show more
