We use the canned version during lunch time, sometimes. We switch up her lunch depending on how her health is and the solidness of her poop. We use the canned ones when it’s a bit too hard to soften it up & put the dry Blue Buffalo kibble on top as a topper for it. And also adding chicken or bone broth helps out too! I knew this was a patenformula when pirchasing, but this is really thick. May not be a big deal for most, but our small breed dog had trouble eating it. It's hard to break up for him since its so tacky. Smelled fine and have fed it to other dogs just fine. But if you have a small breed dog, keep that in mind ... show more

Bella is my sweet little Poshie (Pomeranian-Sheltie). I've always fed her Blue Buffalo products since she entered my life when she was just out of puppy-hood. I included a pic of her when she was much younger, and now several years later. She's still full of energy and every time she goes for a checkup at the vet, they say to keep doing what we're doing! Shiny coat, bright eyes and zero health issues. I credit all of this to Blue Buffalo products! We alternate the chicken and the beef versions of her wet food, along with Blue Buffalo dry food. Dogs are enjoying these meals. Adds a little goodness to the dry food too, it appears. Some canned dog food has a strong odor. Not so much with this brand. No digestive problems noted.
