I like the rubber net.....I do not like the way the net extends (and not very far). It does not seem extremely sturdy and not sturdy enough for larger fish (bigger walleye, rainbow, larger pike). The net is definitely not deep enough for fish of anything but small sizes. Most nets, once you have the fish inside....it is yours....not with this net...you need to rush to get it over the boat or they will flop and jump right out....and that is very disappointing. ... show more

Good for smaller catches. Went salmon fishing with it and definitely will no hold a bigger fish. Net size is way too small. Would be somewhat perfect is net was larger.

Haven't had any issues with the net, however...I would like to say that a 3lb bass will fill this net and can easily flip itself out of the net. If you added another 3-4" of depth it would be a really nice purchase.
