Honestly, not a bad phone. For the price, I'm amazed at how great this phone is. Since it's unlocked, I just popped in the sim and it's started going. Also, android 14 Love that. There were a few updates to software that I needed to do (around 6). And the updates take about 5-10 minutes each.my service isn't that great so it might be less for you. Also, I noticed that with almost every software update new game apps would appear downloaded. Games I've never downloaded or would ever download. When taking videos/pictures, you notice that it's not great. But not terrible. It feels like a 2012 picture quality. But since I'm using this phone as a secondary just for calls and texts, that doesn't bother me at all. Battery life is great. Actually better than most top flagship phones. The only complaint is the charge rate. But just leave it at night to charge and you'll have an all day battery the next day. One thing I did notice to is that sometimes it lags when using multiple apps. For example, Amazon. It doesn't scroll easily. You can tell when it lags. But that's not a problem for me. Remember, just phone calls and texts. The screen quality is amazing. Watching YouTube isn't a negative experience. The sound quality isn't the best but sound does come out. All in all. Great phone. If you're looking to buy a phone for your kids, this is it. If you don't want to shell out thousands of dollars on a top tier phone, this is it. There will be compromises to be made but I don't think you'll regret it. Ps. Did this review on the phone itself and the haptic feedback while texting is also great. ... show more

I bought the G64L for one single purpose & that was to connect my external usb-c thermal camera. For $70 and paying no mind to cell service, the phone does everything I need it to. I was able to install apps from the play store with wifi, and download/run apks on it. This device is ideal if you insist on giving a young child a phone to entertain with YouTube, Netflix, Hulu etc… IF you are buying this as a modern everyday use phone, I wouldn’t recommend it. This is because the charge time is incredibly slow (8+ hours from empty). The camera is quite low quality, the screen will tear and lag when the phone is warm, the speakers are of mid quality, and >40% of your storage will be taken up immediately by updates and necessary hardware. This phone has a modern design and operating system, with quite a large screen. For $70 this is a great deal today, I think the greatest drawbacks to this device are storage and a very low charging wattage. ... show more

I really wanted to like this phone since it would be a perfect media phone at a reasonable cost. But after only a couple hours of use (setting up phone, logging into google account, downloading a couple apps) the phone bricked itself. While changing wallpaper style, the phone froze. After about 15 seconds the screen went black and has been completely unresponsive ever since. It will not charge, it will not (re)start, just completely dead. And since I cannot wipe my account from it, I can't return it for a replacement. I am extremely disappointed. ... show more

The phone was beyond why I expected. It's very good especially considering the price. It's lightweight but has a decent size screen. It has dual sim slots, 4g/5g compatible, 64gb/8gb RAM so it's fast. It's perfect for my kid.
