My Motorola e6 was chronically short of memory and I couldn't keep deleting things to clear up more space. I Googled highly rated budget phones and the subject item came up amongst the highest rated and lowest priced. I purchased on Amazon for less than $70. I had tried a Blu Windows phone in 2017 and was very disappointed with it, I had to send it back because it wouldn't open any apps despite reboots and trying to reinstall the OS with help of their customer service. I was surprised that this phone was so highly rated. I decided to take a chance with it anyway, the G50 arrived two days after I ordered it in a pinkish coloured box. It came with some surprising "extras"; a shock resistant black case, not just a clear slip cover as most phones are sent with, a screen protector already installed and an extra screen protector! Wow, impressive!" I turned the phone on it booted up quickly, Google play already installed I opened it and chose all the apps I wanted on this phone from the apps listed in my Google Play account and they quickly installed, no problem, and updated the pre-installed apps too! I plugged in my SD card I had in the Motorola, it works fine and all my files are retrievable, and I set to put new files into my SD rather than use the phones memory. This phone was very easy to set up and start using straight out of the box, no glitches, no hang-ups. This has a 32 GB internal memory, 2 GB RAM, two cams, (I dont need 5!) can hold two SIM cards and up to 64 GB SD card. Cam seems very good, seems blurry when one snaps the photo but is very clear when it is saved. Only thing that was somewhat disappointing, the cable to charge the phone is very short, I had to buy another, longer cable to reach from my computer to my Belkin surge protector/power strip. Overall, however, I feel this is a quality product, it is easy to use, had many unexpected extras come with it, and was not a headache to set up and start using. I am happy that Blu is putting out quality products, I was very reluctant to try them again after my poor experience 4 years ago, but I am glad I did on this one! ... show more

A touch screen phone with face recognition, fingerprint reader, dual SIM card (I'll be using the second SIM in the near future) protective case and two screen protectors for $70 USD. This phone makes me happy. Thank you BLU!

    • Stopped working after few months
It was an ok phone for a good price but unfortunately it stopped working completely. Spend few more dollars and get something that would last longer than few months.

    • 5G upgrade not compatible
I wanted a less expensive, but reliable phone. What I received is a paperweight. If the phone doesn't do internet calling, it is a hit and miss on cell service. This phone does do VoLTE (voice over LTE), but that's not why it won't work. 1) with the new phones you have to allow the phone to access your GPS location at all times. So they have the ability to track you at all times. 2) they have to have the ability to Wi-Fi call. So in conclusion, if you're phone can't give the government 24/7 access to your location (don't think it's not the government either, by back door deals with phone companies) you won't be getting service. ... show more

I purchased 12 of these phones for our company, and I am extremely impressed with Blu. I hadn't considered Blu previously, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a full featured phone, low on bloatware, with a true implementation of android. The UI has a snappy response, the camera's (both front and back) produce solid images, and all are operating flawlessly for our needs.     • excellent beginner smart phone
My 81 year old hubby needed a smart phone to access our Ring system. This is perfect, plus it has nearly all the features of my more expensive phone. And it takes better pictures. Very user friendly. One odd thing, it would not recognize his fingerprint, but had no trouble with mine. He says old guys often lose their fingerprints, is he serious? ... show more

    • Does everything I wanted it to.
Wanted a phone that could do calls/text/use data and run apps. It's done all of those just fine so far. Fingerprint reader is good, but in order to make it work consistently I need to add multiple entries for the same finger. Battery life is reasonable. A full charge lasts around 4 days with my level of usage. Sometimes can be a little slow, but nothing too bad. ... show more
