to be honest for the price you cant beat it...its not a bad phone, i had dropped my iphone on accident and broke it and bought this phone to hold me off for a couple months til i save money and get a new iphone. overall id say this would be a good phone for someone who just needs to use it for calls, texts, and streaming music, videos, movies. idk how games would perform because i dont really play any games on my phone. Disclaimer: i tried setting up the phone with Visible at first but learned it isnt compatible with Verizon or any of its MVNOs like Visible. I did some research and ended up buying a Tello Sim for $3 here on amazon, and i ended up activating the $25 a month unlimited talk text and 50Gbs of data plan. if you just need a cheap phone to stay connected to family,friends, and the internet but dont want to spend an arm and a leg this is a good phone for you.

I honestly cannot recommend this phone at ALL!!!! I have broken down into numerous issues below: First for the positives: There are so few and far between... The included phone case is actually nice and works well, although is a fingerprint magnet. The screen can get nice and bright, and does have some decent clarity to it. The speakers are pretty good for as cheap as the device is. Honestly thats about it, now for the negatives... Performance: To say this thing is a potato would be an understatement. The UI is laggy and slow at the very least, sometimes crashing multiple times performing simple tasks. Asking it to the change the background on the home screen would cause a crash, accessing settings would cause a crash, and simply restarting the phone would cause it to be so laggy for up to 5 minutes before it would respond properly. Signal is not the greatest, very spotty at times and would go from 5 bars to none for no reason randomly. UI (Operating System): Crashes all the time, laggy, and contains a ton (and I mean a ton) of bloatware. I finally had to disable Blu's "app store" completely, as everytime I would remove apps, more would suddenly and randomly get installed. I got to the point where almost everything except Spotify was either removed or disabled, and the UI still could not run properly. Battery: Battery while it seems large, actually does not perform as well as similar sized batteries. After a full charge, the battery was already down to 72% within 30 minutes just from using Spotify, even after removing all the bloatware. Charging is not great, even hooked up to a PD charger (capable of 120watts), would take over half an hour to even gain 5%. Memory: While internal memory did seem okay, I did decide to opt into an MicroSD card, so that I could download songs via Spotify, that was a HUGE mistake. It would work, but upon rebooting the phone, or heck even walking away for 10 minutes, the SD would dismount or something and completely wipe the card. It actually destroyed 2 MicroSD cards, due to being corrupted so bad that even a computer could not get them to reformat. Also, as a side note, for some reason everytime the screen would switch off due to inactivity, the downloads would stop, weird i know! Overall: Destroys SD Cards, slow and laggy performance, slow charging, weak battery, slow download, spotty network at best. Does have Okay speakers and screen, but performance can't correct for that.

Battery died after after an hour and phone won't turn on anymore even after charging for hours. The battery came outside of the case which is almost impossible to open.

I particularly liked that it had a removable battery but, too bad about all the rest of the problems I had with it. In what they call "a budget phone", a low grade camera would be expected. And, I could have "lived with THAT". But the volume was too low for me but, I was even gonna see if I could deal with THAT issue because of the low price of the phone ($59 at the time). But then, the software issue "sealed the deal" for me. It was glitchy (at least onthe phone I got so, may it won't be glitchy on all the phones of this model. Just sayin'. I like Blu phones and have another model I like: (BluView Speed 5G) so, I am giving this phone 2 stars because of that possibility). Anyhow, the screen was not responding sensitively to touch...even after the update. The worst of it was when I would hit the "home" icon at the bottom of the screen and nothing happened. Had to click the "recent apps" icon to get to the home screen. Like I said: "glitchy" software. Returned it.

It's about as cheap a price as you can pay for an unlocked new smart phone, so you have to adjust your expectations for that. Given the price this phone performs excellently. Screen, battery life, camera, and performance is all adequate. You probably won't be wanting to use the pictures the camera takes but it's perfectly acceptable for video calls. Yes there's frequent small lags on a phone this low end. I've used many low end androids over the years and they all have that issue. I don't expect to use this phone for more than a few months max, and it is a perfect fit for the short time I need it for. Again, don't expect to be wowd by anything for the price point, but it's all functional For the price I was almost willing to give it 5stars as the best unlocked, no carrier required phone for this price I've ever used. However it comes with some bloat ware apps that required downloading and system apps that I had to forcibly disable. That's why it's only getting 4 stars. A phone with such low powered performance and low storage shouldn't have to be pruned by the end user. Forced disabling of some apps will improve performance though so if you get this phone I suggest you disable these apps in your app settings immediately: AppServices, Google Partner Setup, Google Wi-fi Provisioner, Headlines, news., Private Compute Services. And uninstall any preloaded apps or apps that were forced to install before you were able to disable the above. Some above are disguised by name as necessary but they are just bloat ware. I'd suggest this phone for anyone wanting an android phone to hold them over until they get a proper phone. Or for any reason you'd want to quickly get a cheap burner phone for a few months. Well worth the 60USD price tag
