I needed a BP monitor to keep track of my BP for 2 weeks as per M.D. instructions. I have never had hypertension, however it has been running a bit high every now & then. The first time I used this monitor the results were extremely high, so naturally I did a re-check. Same arm, same position, literally minute from previous reading, but the results were very different. I am a nurse so I know that you are never going to get the same results back to back, however they will be within the same range. Unfortunately, the numbers were just way too different. I tried again the next day, and I knew the results were going to be extremely high again because it pumped up so high it was painful. The same thing happened, so I decided to try it on my husband. He had to stop mid-test because the machine was pumping so high the cuff was extremely tight and too painful for him to continue. Unfortunately, I cannot trust the results on this machine, so I am returning it. I also don't like the fact that the display has no lights. I would prefer a lit up display screen over a talking machine.. Hopefully the next one I get will be better. I cannot recommend this monitor.

The cuff is for SMALL arms and it works as described. Got this to replace a large cuff and it works much better on smaller arms. I'm satisfied with my purchase.
