I have tried so many before. This is the first water carafe that never spills. It looks great, it feels great, it doesn't slip. The stainless top is perfect, and only lets out the right amount of water. Alleluja! The right water carafe finally exists.

    • Gasket imparts a strange odor to water

At first I loved this product. But after using it for a couple of months, the gasket now imparts a sweetish odor to the water. Without the gasket, you can't pour without spilling water and with the gasket, the water has a strange taste. So, it is unusable.
