  • Excellent value
These were exactly the parts I needed to restore a project classical guitar

  • Improved sound quality
Replace original nut on 50 year old classical guitar. The fit was perfect no sanding needed. The tone quality with the Blisstime nut was amazing. It made my guitar sounds like a $10,000 one especially since the back and sides are Brazilian rosewood. Very pleased with the sound. Should have done this years ago. The bridge was replaced last year when a luthier refretted it. ... show more

  • Sounds good
It took some work to make it fit but worth it..

  • Pretty good
I installed the nut backwards. Time to consult a professional

  • Great quality, smooth, works well.
The nut on my classical guitar broke, and although I have never done any kind of repair to a guitar before (other than changing strings) I was able to replace it on my own, using this set. Excellent price and seems like excellent quality to me. I only replaced the nut from this set, not the other part. It fit nicely and I just put it in place (no glue) and used the strings to hold it in place. I don't even know if this is the correct way to fasten it, but it works just fine for me. I only play a little bit at home, so if you're a professional or play a great deal, or have a very nice instrument, you may be more picky than me and may choose a different way to repair than I did or at least look more into it. I'm just telling you what I did, not what you should do. But I do like this set a lot, just what I needed for a price I was happy to pay. ... show more

  • Basic bone, improves sound, but check depth of cuts on nut.
Basic bone, improves sound; saddle will need to be shaped. I made a 12-14 degree slope on tie down side of saddle top and sanded a taper toward high E to lower action to standard classical 3mm, 4mm for bass E. I hope to get down to 2.9 or .8 and 3.9 or .8 without buzz (Flamenco standard is 3.5 and 2.5, they say) depends on my fretboard shrinkage and fret heigh on my old guitar. Four of five string slots on nut cut too deep, had to make shallow fill with superglue and baking soda to raise string diameter to half above slot, which eliminated buzz at 12th+ fret(s). Next time I’ll get a blank nut/set. Good item for price. ... show more

  • the bridge require filing to get the right width to slide on the saddle
1 is made of real bone 2 after sanding fits perfectly

  • Good saddle! Didn't need the nut...
The saddle was a couple of microns too thick, which I prefer over too thin. Sandpapee fixed the issue, and it fits nicely in the bridge. It took me a while to sand it down.
