Very very happy with this cost-saving and pain-relieving purchase. I have mild to severe sleep apnea and it got to the point that I noticed that no matter how tired I was, when I actually lay down to go to bed, I’d get more awake and also slightly nervous. It took me a while to realize my body was actually subtly afraid of going to sleep. That was definitely not helping my sense of restfulness. I never did take well to using the cpap, so changing my sleep position was my only Plan B short of surgery. I’m happy to say this bed has made a big difference to me. I now dream fairly regularly again, which I hadn’t been able to do for years due to the apnea. The “zero-G” pose is so much more natural feeling than lying straight on my back. I no longer have anxiety going to sleep. And since I’m both a back and a side-sleeper, I’ve also been able to turn to my side naturally at night even with the bed in zero-G position. (This may depend on your body type but I’m a mid-sized guy and it’s fine for me.) I did remove the end bar that holds the mattress foot - I just didn’t need it and it took some of the added length down so I was able to fit my bed in a snugger space. I was drawn to this brand in particular because of the fabric covered design which is more supportive than some of the metal-only kinds, as well as the German-engineered motor, since the biggest concern on something like this is the motor going out. Zero issues with the remote or the motor - everything is simple and robust. I have a keetsa coil and foam mattress which is pretty firm, and was worried it wouldn’t be flexible enough to adjust on top of this base. But it’s been absolutely fine. So I’d think most people will not need to buy another mattress to use this. ... show more

This adjustable bed frame has been a blessing over the last month! I had purchased a memory foam (Puffy regular) mattress about a year ago. A medical diagnosis for severe digestive issues (GERD) resulted in a recommendation for an adjustable frame. Being someone who does lots of research before making the plunge, articles and reviews led me to the Blissful Sleep frame. I opted to NOT purchase the deluxe night light/massage option (reviews/logic convinced me that the massage would get lost in the transfer through a 12” gel mattress). I have been thrilled with the E3 frame. It was easy to set up although it took three Golden Girls to buggylug it into the bedroom and turn it over as it weighs 119 lbs. (Would have made a great TV sitcom episode!) Put the legs on, verify cords are properly plugged in, turn it over, sync the remote to the power box, heave the mattress back on and voila! Good to go. The German made mechanism is very quiet, you can adjust the head/foot height with the remote (don’t forget to sync it with the bed motor first or it won’t work. An easy “wait for the blue light to turn solid” step using the remote) and my existing mattress works like a charm! I’ve slept like a babe with no reflux and the added benefit of no aches/pains, especially once I discovered what the “zero gravity” position looks like.(Some beds offer an auto zero gravity or memory of your favored position; this bed does not but I do not find the extra 10 seconds to do it using the remote a big deal.) I also find that the power box offered enough illumination from its “on light” to provide me with a night light. I am very pleased with the prompt delivery (came 5 days early) and quality overall of this product. I will come back again to give a followup over time. (11/19/21) ... show more

    • A solid purchase overall

This is the first time we have ever bought a new bed. Buying a bed online felt like a risk. However the reviews were good and the price was too. My husband was on a trip out of state when it came. It was delivered in 4 boxes. I opened the first one to see if maybe I could put it together on my own. It wasn’t hard to get out of the box. The frame was covered in plastic. I was able to get it up a couple steps to the main house and slide it across the house to our room. It was easy to set up. The packaging was easily removed. The legs screw on quickly and are adjustable. I set them both up. My son who is 12 helped. He helped carry the mattresses. They were compressed and wrapped tightly. Heavy for me alone but not bad with help. My son and I hoisted it up in the frame. And unwrapped them. Pretty easy. They plumped up quickly. Each bed has its own remote. They are easy to operate. And quiet. The mattress is comfortable. I would say it’s pretty strait forward in the description. It’s slightly firm. I’d like it a little softer, but for the value and overall comfort it was a good purchase. We are only a week into using it so my opinion is only based on the short time we’ve had it. Complaints; the mattress pads slide apart. Kind of annoying. But I suspect that happens with most Cal Kings. I wish the mattress was a little bit softer. My husband has no complaints. We are quite happy. But will update if we have any issues. ... show more

The frame is very sturdy (heavy) but easy to set up, although it's best done with two people. I gave it 4 not 5 stars for 2 reasons. (1) All the reviews i read said the motors are very quiet. What I found was that the motor that raises the foot of the bed make no noise at all, the one that raises the head has a typical electric motor whine...its not loud but it's very noticeable...enough so that I hesitate to make a head adjstment after my wife has fallen asleep. Both frames I bought make the same noises. (2) This reason is more on me than the bed/company. I saw the remote had 3 memory positions. shame on me for not reading reviews and or details. These are preset positions, it's unfortunate but you can't save your own settings. ... show more
