This watch has withstood a lot of water so far! It came up as one of the top recommended watches with a second hand for nursing students, and I can see why. The numbers are all nice in size and legible, including even the military time conversion numbers on the inner ring. I haven’t fully submerged the watch yet, only had splashes hit it while washing my hands or handling water, but I also don’t see why I would need to submerge it at all. I'm not a nurse, but I purchased this watch for 3 reasons...1. Its numbers are large enough for me to see without my glasses 2. It had a stretchy band and 3. It was water resistant (I'm a cook at a school and water and other liquids happen in a kitchen of any sort). I have worn watches since I can't even remember when, and I usually only take them off when in bathing or swimming. All that being said it has worked WONDERFULLY since I received it! I recently when in vacation to a beach and our accommodation had a pool as well. For the 1st few days I COMPLETELY forgot I had it on and went swimming in the ocean and then again in the pool! I would realize what I'd done that evening when I went to shower and I just prayed I hadn't ruined it. I don't know how I kept forgetting but I did. I am AMAZED and pleased to say it is still working like a charm and so far there is no water inside that I can tell!
