Works great, but contains little information on how to use it or program it. If you plan to use it with an arduino or micro controller variant, plug the coin pin into the analog ports rather than using a digital interrupt. This will save you a lot of hassle trust me. Have run dozens of these in arcade and vending settings. They all die in less than a year. Remarkably consistent, seems almost planned. Get the TL brand 131 mechanisms. Same price, have had many running for years. And they look cooler.

It works for a while. Programming it is ok but I wouldn’t say it’s easy. After programming serval units I’ve got it figured out. The problem I have is they fail after about 3 or 4 months. If it was just one that quit then I would write it off as just a failure but I’ve replaced the unit several times now. Edit (Jan-2022): Reducing to one star. I have had 5 of these quit working now. They are not heavily used either, maybe 6 to 8 coins per day. The most recent one lasted just under 4 months. I wish they were more reliable or something else was available on the market that would be a drop in replacement. ... show more
