I've owned a lot of phones. A lot. Power and speed have always been a hit or miss on many of them. If you have power, there isn't much speed. If there is speed, not much battery power. A bit of an oxymoron. This thing is slick! It is fast, has a beautiful screen and has a beefy, long lasting battery. I love the fact it has a micro SD slot. Many brands are dismissing this excellent feature. It's the reason I won't look at an iPhone and the reason I have pretty much dismissed Samsung. These phones are over priced and have less and less yet costing more and more. Ridiculous. The secondary screen is a cool feature. I can play music without going into the phone. I can see who is calling. It also keeps track of steps and has a compass too. As a photographer, the beefy battery is fantastic! I have gear that are controlled by apps. Battery is always a struggle. It is no longer. The phone calls are clear, even on wifi calling. The cell signal is better than on my Samsung. I set the phone up, then shut it off to insert the sim card and micro SD card. Powered it up and it immediately connected to T-Mobile. It has no issue with any of my apps. All my goto apps are working great. Yes, it is heavy. But that's the trade off that I am happy to take. If you aren't afraid of a heavy phone, this phone is amazing.

It's a very large, heavy, and rugged device, but it offers a very bright and responsive experience. Navigating its settings, features, and functions has a slight learning curve, as I've only had it for two days. So far, I haven't encountered any issues. Currently, I'm using it exclusively over Wi-Fi, synchronized to my Google account. To maximize the massive battery life, it's essential to read the instructions and adjust the battery settings to suit your specific needs. It's best to keep most settings to standard/normal usage unless you're willing to accept faster battery drain. My main reasons for purchasing this phone were its key features: ruggedness, large battery, and expandable storage. It will be used primarily for work—making calls all day, using work applications, GPS navigation, work service maps, and taking pictures/videos—so it's perfect for my needs. I haven't yet used it in harsh, rainy, cold, or muddy environments. One suggestion for the manufacturer: I wish Blackview would make the charging bay available so I could use the 6-pin functionality on Amazon, which would help prevent excessive wear on the USB-C port. I will update this review soon.

The phone is everything they describe but be prepared it is a big heavy phone. It's very fast and seems to have good battery life so far. Update: the phone stopped ringing or making any kind of notification sounds any sounds at all I contacted the seller and he told me I could return the phone for a new one but I was very busy with work and could it do it before the time limit. It's crashing off and on now. Now I am stuck with it until I buy a new one. This is my 3rd blackview phone and this one was not good at all. I'm not sure what phone I'm gonna go with next I've recommended blackbiew to several friends because my first two were good but not this one and being stuck with it has put a bad taste in my mouth Update: I've had the phone for 3 weeks maybe 4 weeks something like that and all the sudden the speaker stopped working on it no sound coming out I tried a factory reset and still nothing. What's there to say? If you are even looking at this thing you know you're sick of small drops leading to screen cracks and being at 20% battery at dinner after charging it that day. With this bad boy, 20% is an easy 3/4 day left. That's not to say it's perfect. While it is "pocketable" for the average American man in jeans, anyone else is going to need to find some other method of carrying it. It's heavy as heck. I joke about being able to knock someone out with it...but that might not be a joke. It's definitely a tough phone too. I've dropped it more than once and no issues, but some of those drops are definitely from it being unwieldy. If you want to use your phone less, this might be one way to accomplish that since you'll get tired of holding it! That 20k mAh battery is the real selling point here. I have gotten to the point that I can get 4-5 days out of the battery simply by turning the screen refresh rate down to 60 from 120. Turning off 5g will get you more but I don't find it necessary. Most of a work week with normal usage is plenty. And less charges means the battery will last longer since lithium battery life is measured in charge cycles and not months/years. The back screen is nifty but honestly I don't use it that much. Likewise the IR blaster and top flashlight are handy occasionally but not the real selling point. The battery is what does it. The software is better than my last Blackview, but still not perfect. I really wish I could change the android "flashlight" function to turn on the top-mount flashlight without having to use a different app. It also has some apps that just can't be uninstalled from the manufacturer but it's largely an AOSP experience out of the box and that's commendable these days. Overall I'm happy with it. At $400 it was a great deal and I would definitely buy it again.
