just as described. great quality great finish slightly thinner than the average stainless piping I've purchased before but it's kind of a plus because it's much lighter too. they slip into each other nicely the only negative is the U-shaped bends are not 100% round at the bend so you cannot cut them and flip them to make other shapes but you can with the rest of the piping. still, a phenomenal product at a great price, and will definitely buy again if I have to. ... show more

I was a bit concerned buying stainless steel exhaust off Amazon but was pleasantly surprised with this kit. This isn’t just a coated stainless tubing, it’s the real deal! It tig welded up perfectly and came with all the bends needed to do a cat back dual exhaust on my truck. The tubing is a little thinner than OEM so adjust your welder settings accordingly to prevent burn through but not thin enough to cause any issues. Along with the X pipe and 3” electric cutouts I will be able to cruise the streets and then open the cutouts and be ready for a 6 second pass down the 1/8. I really debated a long time between the comparable options of the pipe kits. I was originally leaning toward some of the more inexpensive options, but then I came across this BlackHorse kit, which was more expensive for less. After looking at the other reviews I decided to buy it, and to buy two sets because I am making a custom true dual exhaust for my truck. I'm so glad that I spent the extra money! I have purchased other kits in the past that claimed to be "stainless steel." I would receive those packages, throw a magnet on it and be instantly disappointed when the magnet grips the pipe to a degree, this means that it isn't a pure stainless if the magnet works on it. I have those kits on two other vehicles right now, and big surprise; they have rusted through and needed more work to fix them up since putting them on. When I got the kits in from BlackHorse, the first impression was that this looks really different than other kits... in a really good way. It all came polished to the max! I put a rare earth magnet on it right away and what happened? Not a bit of stick... this is actually 300 series stainless! Finally, an honest exhaust company that actually gives you what they said it will. Now I can make my custom exhaust on my truck and know that it is going to last not months, but decades! ... show more

Edit: No cracks or breaks! Holding up just fine. It was difficult to weld because its so thin. Tended to blow through, so I had to start and stop a bunch with my 220v. I really like how light it is, easy to remove and install. Really like this kit. Made it much easier to build a custom 3in exhaust for my miata. The material thickness is thinner, which is great for cutting, but bad for cracking. I will edit my review after some time. But so far so good. ... show more
