Every year I have to replace my river belt and over that last 20 years of LE work I have really seen the quality of inner belts go downhill. The vast majority have been the overlapping hook and loop with a few rigger belts in the mix. Most of the time the overlapping Velcro belts just stop holding together. The last one I had barely made it 6 months. So I was on the hunt for a new belt. Well, I found it. This thing is great. I can tension the belt and it holds. I leave my outer belt in my locker and travel to and from work with an OWB with G19 and the belt is ridged and strong enough to hold the weight. Just for fun I put my G17 with accessories on at the range. No issues. This is the belt you are looking for!

It's in my useless gear pile now. The sizing is terrible (if you order, order up a size or two) and this is not hook and loop. It's just a loopback. Buy something else, no need to spend money on this one.

I got this belt b/c I got tired of the flimsy GI issue type belts/buckles. They don't last and the buckles are metal and can scratch stuff. This one was sized right for me I'm a 34 inseam. Unlike a riggers/instructor belt with the massive and heavy "D" ring for repelling this one is stouter than the uncle mikes thinner under-duty velcro belt [I own themm both] This one I prefer for work [General contractor] as I can hang my RAT-3 fixed blade w/sheath, smart phone in HD otter box case, small led flash light and small hip pouch off it and it still holds my pants up fine. When I'm not in my man-work clothes I like the Uncle mikes b/c it is a bit less rigid and just really needs to support my phone. Either one should work fine when I go to the range to shoot off the hip drills of any firearm/belt holster combo I own. Highly recommended. Amazon had the BEST price around and took back the riggers belts that I did not like.

The belt itself is not as comfortable as I expected it to be. it is VERY rigid The part that closes the belt is very short and cannot be fitted comfortably Also, the velcro for the closure is only 2 small pieces of hook and loop and not actually all the inner or outer belt padding (which I was kinda expected as well) I was a bit disappointed and wear it only 2 times, and since then the belt is in the storage room

The item was exactly as advertised, there were no surprises. The shipping and delivery were on time and as expected. It is of decent quality but is still stiff after being worn for 6 months, Its Velcro construction causes a lot of wear on the pants' waistband. Overall, a positive experience with both the product and the vendor.

This belt far exceeds the quality of the inner belt that comes with most nylon duty belts. I find that the loopback belts are easier to tighten and remain tightened, and the Velcro on these is high quality and sticks like glue to itself and to the outer belt. Well worth the money. The square edges of the belt are a bit harsh if you've got some extra body fat around your hips, but the belt wears in over time and it's not horrible.

The velcro on this bad boy is very strong. Once it's on, adjustment is very difficult, but that's a positive once it's placed where you want it.

Very poorly thought out. The hard hook velcro goes right to the edge of the belt. This means the two contact points (top and bottom of the belt) rub and cut at the belt loops. The duty pants we are issued are a lightweight, wicking polyester. Putting this inner belt on immediately started to cut away at the loop and caused it to fray. There's a reason why other companies have a fabric wrap on the belt edges. I do like the loop back design to get the belt nice and snug. That is the only positive I found
